Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of PackTist and the purchase of custom packaging through our platform. By placing an order, you confirm you have rights to all artwork submitted, accept our payment and cancellation terms, and understand our production and delivery timelines. Read Sections 6–9 carefully — they cover what happens with your money, your files, and your order.
Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to PackTist ("PackTist," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website packtist.com, placing a quote request, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines or policies we make available to you.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PackTist.
PackTist reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated "Last Revised" date. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of our Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California. All disputes shall be resolved under U.S. jurisdiction. See Section 17 for full dispute resolution details.

PackTist is a premium custom packaging platform connecting brands with world-class packaging solutions. We operate an end-to-end digital platform for ordering, customizing, and managing packaging — from rigid boxes and mailer boxes to luxury retail packaging — with full-color print, specialty finishes, and dedicated account management.

Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our Services, create an account, or place an order. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old;
- You have the legal authority to enter into a binding contract;
- You are not a person barred from using our Services under applicable law;
- If placing an order on behalf of a business, you are authorized to bind that business to these Terms.
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for suspected fraudulent activity or Terms violations.
Account Registration
Certain features require creating an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to keep your account information updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately at support@packtist.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may not transfer or share your account. PackTist is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized account use due to your failure to safeguard your credentials.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period, with reasonable notice where practicable.
Orders & Quotes
5.1 Quote Requests
Submitting a quote request does not constitute a binding order. Quote pricing is estimated and subject to change based on final artwork review, material availability, and specifications confirmed at order placement. Quote estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated in writing.
5.2 Order Placement
An order is confirmed only upon full payment and written acknowledgment from PackTist. We reserve the right to reject any order for any reason, including pricing errors or material unavailability, and will issue a full refund in such cases.
5.3 Order Accuracy
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all order specifications including dimensions, quantities, material selections, finishing options, and shipping addresses. Errors in submitted information that affect production are not grounds for a refund or reprint at our cost.
5.4 Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of payment for a full refund. After 24 hours, cancellation requests are not accepted, and you remain liable for the full order value. If production has commenced, cancellation is not possible under any circumstances.
Once artwork has been approved and production has begun, orders cannot be modified, canceled, or refunded. Review all proofs carefully before approving. Approved proofs are final.
Payment & Pricing
6.1 Payment Terms
Full payment is required at the time of order placement unless a separate credit arrangement has been agreed upon in writing. We accept major credit/debit cards and PayPal. All transactions are processed by PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processors (Stripe, PayPal). PackTist does not store your full card number.
6.2 Pricing
All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) and are exclusive of applicable taxes, import duties, and shipping costs unless explicitly stated. Final pricing is confirmed at checkout. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time prior to order confirmation.
6.3 Taxes & Duties
You are responsible for all applicable sales taxes, VAT, customs duties, and import fees associated with your order. PackTist will collect sales tax where required by law.
6.4 Invoices
A digital invoice will be issued for every confirmed order and accessible in your account portal. Invoice records are retained for 7 years in accordance with IRS record-keeping requirements (26 U.S.C. § 6001).

Design & Artwork
7.1 File Specifications
You are responsible for submitting print-ready artwork that meets our technical specifications (available at packtist.com/artwork-guidelines). Accepted file formats include PDF, AI, EPS, and high-resolution TIFF/PNG (minimum 300 DPI at final print size). Files must include all bleeds, crop marks, and embedded fonts or outlined text as specified in our guidelines.
7.2 Proof Approval
A digital proof will be provided for your review prior to production. You are required to review and approve the proof in writing before production begins. Once you approve the proof, you accept full responsibility for:
- Spelling, grammar, and typographical accuracy;
- Layout, image placement, and overall design;
- Color representation (see Section 7.3 below);
- Die line accuracy and structural correctness.
7.3 Color Matching
We strive for accurate color reproduction. However, we cannot guarantee exact color matching due to variations between screen displays, proofing systems, and production printing. If Pantone (PMS) color matching is required, it must be explicitly requested and agreed upon in writing. Standard orders are printed using CMYK process color.
7.4 Artwork Storage
Uploaded artwork files are stored for the duration of your active account plus 90 days after account closure to facilitate reorders. Files are deleted promptly upon verified written request. Refer to our Privacy Policy for details.
PackTist is not liable for errors in approved proofs including but not limited to: missing fonts, incorrect die lines, crop marks, overprints, spelling errors, or color differences attributable to the approved file. Always request a physical sample for color-critical work.
Production & Delivery
8.1 Production Timelines
Production lead times are selected at checkout and commence upon proof approval and payment confirmation. Standard production timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Rush production options may be available for certain products at additional cost.

8.2 Shipping
Typical shipping transit time after production is 2–5 business days within the continental US. International orders may take longer depending on destination and customs clearance. Shipping carriers include DHL, FedEx, and UPS. Tracking information will be provided once the order ships.
8.3 Shipping Delays
PackTist is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, customs inspections, or other circumstances beyond our control. Shipping timelines provided at checkout are estimates only. We will not issue refunds solely due to carrier delays.
8.4 Damaged Goods in Transit
Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. If goods arrive damaged due to shipping, please document the damage immediately with photographs and contact the carrier directly to file a claim. Notify us within 3 business days of delivery with photographic evidence and we will assist you in the claims process.
Returns & Reprints
Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of our products, PackTist does not offer refunds on completed orders except as specifically described below.
9.1 Defective or Incorrect Products
If you receive products that are defective or materially different from your approved proof due to an error caused solely by PackTist, you must:
- Contact us within 3 days of delivery at support@packtist.com;
- Provide clear photographic evidence of the defect or discrepancy;
- Return affected items in original condition upon our request.
After review and verification, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a reprint, store credit, or partial refund. We do not offer reprints or refunds for errors that were present in the approved proof or submitted artwork.
9.2 Quantity Variance
Custom print orders are subject to a standard industry variance of ±5% of the ordered quantity. Delivery of quantities within this range is considered full fulfillment and will not result in a refund or reprint.
9.3 No Refunds for Approved Artwork Errors
PackTist will not issue refunds or reprints for errors that originated in your submitted or approved artwork, including typographical errors, color variations attributable to approved proofs, incorrect dimensions you specified, or layout issues present in the approved file.
Intellectual Property
10.1 PackTist Content
All content on packtist.com — including text, images, graphics, logos, software, and platform code — is the exclusive property of PackTist or its licensors and is protected by U.S. copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or modified without our express written permission.
10.2 Your Submitted Content
You retain ownership of all artwork, logos, and design files you upload to our platform. By submitting artwork, you grant PackTist a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and process your files solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
10.3 Your Warranties Regarding Content
You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use all content submitted;
- Your submitted content does not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right;
- Your content does not violate any applicable law or regulation;
- You have full legal authority to place the order and submit the artwork.
By placing an order, you confirm you hold all necessary rights to the submitted artwork. PackTist does not verify ownership of submitted designs and will not be liable for infringement claims arising from your content.
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use our platform or Services to:
- Order or print content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or violates any third-party rights;
- Reproduce copyrighted material, registered trademarks, or protected IP without authorization;
- Produce counterfeit packaging, fraudulent labels, or deceptive materials intended to mislead consumers;
- Submit malware, harmful code, or disruptive data through file uploads;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, data, or other user accounts;
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers on our platform without written permission;
- Resell or redistribute our Services without our express written consent.
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination, order cancellation without refund, and potential legal action.
Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PACKTIST PROVIDES ALL SERVICES ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE.
We do not warrant that our platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or free of viruses. Color output may vary from screen representations. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties; in such cases, this disclaimer applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PACKTIST, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages;
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities;
- Damages arising from shipping delays, carrier errors, or circumstances outside our control;
- Damages resulting from errors in approved proofs or submitted artwork.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to PackTist for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PackTist, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and suppliers from and against all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your use of or access to our Services;
- Your violation of these Terms;
- Your submitted artwork, logos, or design content;
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights;
- Any misrepresentation you make in connection with an order.
SMS & Email Communications
15.1 SMS / MMS
By providing your mobile number and opting in during registration or order placement, you consent to receive SMS/MMS messages from PackTist related to order updates, account notifications, and customer support.

- Standard message and data rates may apply.
15.2 Email Communications
Transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping notifications, invoice receipts) will be sent as required and are not subject to marketing opt-outs. Promotional emails are sent only with consent and include a one-click unsubscribe link as required by the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Third-Party Links
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (including Stripe, PayPal, Tawk.to, and Google Analytics). These links are provided for convenience only. PackTist does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or data handling of any third-party service. Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
Governing Law & Disputes
17.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
17.2 Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact us at support@packtist.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for a period of 30 days.
17.3 Dispute Resolution
If informal resolution fails, any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered under the American Arbitration Association (AAA) Commercial Arbitration Rules, with proceedings in Sacramento, California. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
17.4 Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes with PackTist on an individual basis only. You waive any right to bring or participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Modifications to These Terms
PackTist reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by:
- Posting updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last Revised" date;
- Sending an email notice to registered users at least 14 days before material changes take effect;
- Displaying a prominent notice banner on our website.
Your continued use of our Services after the effective date constitutes your binding acceptance. Prior versions are available upon request by emailing support@packtist.com.
