Biscuit Boxes
Crisp and brittle, so the pack has to keep the snap and stop the breakage.
Biscuits are drier than cookies and break more readily, which pushes the format toward layered trays and moisture barriers. Board alone holds crispness for days, not weeks.

Sizing & dieline.
We cut Biscuit Boxes to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Biscuit Boxes per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Biscuit Boxes.
Each layer sits on a cushion pad, and a compartment tray gives every variety its own bay so rows cannot shift into each other. Biscuits are drier and more brittle than cookies, so the damage usually comes from movement rather than weight.
We cut the tray to your biscuit dimensions and add a pad between tiers. A two-layer assortment travels far better that way than loose biscuits stacked in a plain carton.
Board alone holds crispness for a few days, so for anything sold as a gift or kept in stock we pair the box with an inner film bag. The film does the moisture work and the printed board does the presenting.
For biscuits sold the same week from a counter, a coated carton with a grease and moisture resistant interior is usually enough. Tell us how long stock sits on the shelf and we'll spec the barrier to match.
It is a printed card, or a panel printed inside the lid, that names what sits in each row or bay. Biscuit assortments picked up the habit from the old tins, and buyers still look for it before choosing.
We lay it out to match the tray exactly. If the bay layout stays the same, a new mix of biscuits only needs a new card, and the box and tray carry on unchanged.
Heritage typography, a repeating holiday pattern and an embossed or printed lid get closest to the tin register in paperboard. CMYK print covers full pattern work, and a ribbon close adds the hospitality touch for gift stock.
For counter cartons a window patch shows the bake, and a natural kraft finish suits a plainer farmhouse range. Most seasonal programmes keep the structure fixed and change the artwork each holiday.
Our common sizes are 7 × 5 × 2 in for a smaller selection and 8 × 8 × 2.5 in for a full assortment, measured as length by width by depth. Depth decides how many layers fit, so we measure the tallest biscuit plus its pad.
Send a sample of each biscuit, or its dimensions and the count per row, and we will size the tray bays and the carton around them.
A custom biscuit box run starts at 500 pieces. We quote the insert tray and cushion pads on the same order, so every part of the assortment arrives together.
Plenty of bakeries place that first 500 ahead of the gifting season and reorder once they see which assortment sold. Bigger volumes, up to 100,000 units, go on the same quote form.
Standard production runs 7 to 10 business days after you approve the proof, and a rush job can move in 5 to 7. A physical sample takes 5 to 7 business days, and its fee comes off the production invoice.
For holiday gift stock we'd sample the tray with your actual biscuits in it before signing off, because bay fit is something a flat proof cannot show.
Yes, the carton can be built in natural kraft board or a compostable option, and the trays can follow in the same material. Kraft reads well for a plain bakery range, while coated white board prints heritage artwork brighter.
Inner film bags are a separate component, so once they're taken out the board parts can go in paper recycling where it is collected.
