Christmas Gift Boxes
Wrapped, carried, stacked under a tree, and opened in front of everyone.
Seasonal gift boxes have to survive wrapping tension, a car journey and a week under a tree. Then they get opened at the moment everyone is watching.

Every detail. Intentional.
Wrapping tension distorts
Weak rims buckle under paper.
A week under the tree
Stacked, leaned on, moved.
Opened in front of people
The moment worth designing for.
Sized to common gift shapes
Books, knitwear, boxed sets.
A lifting lid, not a flap
It opens like a gift.
Lead times bite in autumn
Seasonal lead times bite.

Built like architecture.
Every order of Christmas Gift Boxes is an engineered build, measured, dieline-cut and hand-wrapped to spec. Below is the standard build sheet.

Every surface, hand-selected.
What this product is built from, and the surfaces it takes. Below the build sheet sits the full swatch library. Every option applies across our range, and a physical swatch set is available on request.

Sizing & dieline.
We cut Christmas Gift Boxes to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Christmas Gift Boxes per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Christmas Gift Boxes.
Wrapping paper pulled tight puts steady pressure on the rim, and a thin lid folds inward under it. The box then looks dented before it ever reaches the tree.
We build these with a lift-off lid on rigid board or heavy SBS so the corners stay square under tape and paper. A week stacked beneath other presents is the second test, and the same board takes that load without crushing.
A nested set is a family of graduated boxes that fit one inside the next, so the whole set stores in the footprint of the largest. Retailers sell them as a pack, and shoppers keep them for years of wrapping.
Every size shares the same pattern and lid style, which makes the set read as one product on the shelf. We cut the steps between sizes so each box slides in without scuffing its neighbour.
A two-piece lift-off lid is the classic choice because it opens the way people expect a present to open. The recipient lifts the top straight up in front of the room, and the base underneath stays intact.
Our magnetic flap tier is used for corporate gifting, where the box is handed over unwrapped and often kept on a desk. Tuck-end cartons are the lowest-cost route and do fine for garment boxes that go straight into wrap.
Yes, and most seasonal gift ranges work exactly that way. The cutting dies stay the same from year to year, and only the printed pattern and the foil colour change, so the annual refresh costs far less to set up.
Metallic accents follow fashion, gold one season and copper or silver the next. A kraft rustic range with twine, or a pared-back Scandinavian palette, gives you a second look beside the red and green.
Measure the item at its widest points and allow a little clearance on each side for tissue. We quote inside dimensions as length, width and depth, and the board thickness adds to the outside.
Folded knitwear wants a shallow, wide box, while books want a close fit so they don't slide. Our common nested range runs from 6 × 6 × 3 in to 14 × 10 × 5 in, and drawing a custom size costs you nothing.
Our floor is 500 pieces per design. A nested set is quoted size by size, and the quote shows how that minimum spreads across the family before you commit.
At the other end, retailers stocking a whole season can order up to 100,000 units. The unit cost comes down steadily as quantity rises, so it pays to order the full season in one go.
Bulk production takes 7 to 10 business days from proof sign-off, or 5 to 7 on a rush slot. We can make a pre-production sample in 5 to 7 business days, and that fee comes off your production invoice.
Autumn capacity books up quickly across the industry. We'd aim to sign off the sample in the third quarter and keep the rush option in reserve for reorders.
Kraft works well for a rustic look and recycles easily when it is left uncoated. It takes a one- or two-colour print and a stamped mark better than full photographic artwork, since the brown base dulls CMYK colour.
Pair it with twine and a paper tag for the natural style. For bright reds and full-coverage patterns, SBS paperboard or a printed art paper wrap on rigid board gives much cleaner colour.
