Cosmetic Display Boxes
Bought by a retail buyer who judges set-up speed, footprint and facings first, with beauty a distant fourth.
Counter inches are guarded, and a display that needs instructions gets left in the stockroom. Auto-lock bases and display-shippers earn their cost by removing steps.

Every detail. Intentional.
Footprint is negotiated
Designed to accepted inches, never larger.
Tool-free in under a minute
Or a busy store never puts it out.
Steps keep back rows visible
Tiered geometry does the merchandising.
Sized to the wholesale case
Lands full, empties toward a reorder.
Litho-lam at arm's length
This is read at the counter, not down an aisle.
Sell-through per footprint
The only metric the retailer applies.

Built like architecture.
Every order of Cosmetic Display Boxes is an engineered build, measured, dieline-cut and hand-wrapped to spec. Below is the standard build sheet.

Sizing & dieline.
We cut Cosmetic Display Boxes to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Cosmetic Display Boxes per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Cosmetic Display Boxes.
Under a minute, with no tools, or a busy store never puts it out. The base is an auto-lock design that folds square and locks itself when pushed flat, and the header slots in without tape.
Retail buyers judge a display on set-up speed before they judge it on looks. A unit that needs instructions ends up in the stockroom, which is the failure the structure is designed to avoid.
Yes. A shipper-display arrives assembled and filled, and the retailer tears away a perforated top section to turn it into the display in one step. The tray below stays as the merchandising unit.
Shelf-ready presentation of this kind is often a listing condition with larger chains. It removes the set-up step entirely and means the display goes out with the stock rather than after it.
E-flute corrugated with a litho-laminated print face. The flute gives compression strength to stay upright fully loaded, and the offset-printed sheet bonded to it gives graphics that hold up at arm's length on a counter.
Heavier loads and taller floor units move to B-flute where E-flute would buckle. The header is cut from a heavier grade or greyboard than the body so it stays flat instead of bowing forward under the lights.
Each format needs a different cell: round cells sized to the tube for lipstick, taller cells with a secure base for mascara, and angled slots for nail polish so the cap and bottle colour show together. A front lip at roughly 60 to 70 percent of the product height holds most items without making them hard to lift out.
Steps between rows keep the back row visible. Send product dimensions and we'll build the cells around your SKUs.
Gloss lamination on the body for wipeability and matt on the header to cut glare under retail spotlighting. Displays get handled all day at a till point, so the print surface has to survive it.
Spot UV on the header brand mark draws the eye from across the aisle. A die-cut silhouette on the header breaks the rectangle of a standard fixture, and aqueous coating is the choice where the display has to stay recyclable.
A counter unit runs about 8 x 6 x 10 inches and a shelf tray around 12 x 8 x 3 inches. Those are starting points. The footprint is negotiated with the retailer, and the display is designed to the accepted inches and never larger.
The buyer's first question is facings, so we specify units per row on the drawing. Sizing the tray to the wholesale case means it lands full and empties toward a reorder.
500 displays. For a brand going into 25 to 50 locations with one unit each, that covers the initial placement and leaves stock for replacements as displays wear.
Pricing tiers again beyond 1,000 units. Plan on a display living six to twelve months at a counter before it needs replacing, and set the reorder cadence from that.
Production runs 7 to 10 business days from approved artwork, or 5 to 7 business days on a rush. A sample takes 5 to 7 business days and should be loaded with real product before the design is signed off.
The sample fee comes off the bulk invoice. With recycled fluting and an aqueous coat instead of laminate, the whole unit goes in the corrugated stream when the promotion ends.
