E-Commerce Boxes
Built for a courier network rather than a shelf, so the box carries the whole brand experience.
Online packaging ships without an overbox and arrives at a door. It has to survive automated sortation and then present well enough to be photographed.

Every detail. Intentional.
No shelf, no overbox
The box is everything.
Survives automated sortation
Conveyors are unkind.
Self-locking, no tape
Assembly labour saved.
Tear strip then reseal
Returns without new packaging.

Where customers actually look.
Dimensional weight matters
Every inch costs freight.

Built like architecture.
Every order of E Commerce Boxes is an engineered build, measured, dieline-cut and hand-wrapped to spec. Below is the standard build sheet.

Sizing & dieline.
We cut E Commerce Boxes to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price E Commerce Boxes per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about E Commerce Boxes.
A shipping box travels without an overbox, so the corrugated has to take conveyor sortation, drops and stacking on its own. We build these from E-flute or B-flute board, and the edge crush and burst ratings tell you more about shipping performance than the print does.
A mailer designed for parcel networks has far fewer damage problems than a retail carton pressed into shipping duty. The customer never sees it on a shelf either, so this box carries the whole first impression.
Size the box to the product plus its protection and nothing more, because carriers bill on volume once it outweighs the actual weight. UPS and FedEx daily rates divide length times width times height in inches by 139 to get that billable weight.
Lots of void fill is the usual sign a box is too big. We cut these fully to size, and at real order volumes a right-sized die pays back quickly in freight.
A snug fit matters most, since most transit damage comes from the product moving inside the box. A fitted die-cut insert holds the item still, and a double-wall build or B-flute board helps with heavier or fragile goods.
Before committing to a large run, we'd put samples through ISTA-style drop and compression testing. That step separates a box with low damage rates from one that only looks right on the packing bench.
For most online brands, yes, because they save packing time and make opening cleaner for the customer. Self-locking tabs mean the box closes without tape, so packers move faster and customers don't need a knife.
A perforated tear strip gives a clean first opening while leaving the box intact. If returns are common in your category, that intact box can go back with a new label and no fresh packaging.
If the budget only stretches to one, the inside usually earns more attention. The outside gets a glance on the doorstep, while the interior has the customer's eyes for the whole unpacking.
We print full interiors, CMYK exteriors and litho-laminated outers for photographic work, with matte, gloss or plain kraft finishes. A water-resistant coating helps the outside print survive a wet porch.
Custom mailers start at 500 boxes. A small brand can print its first branded run without warehousing thousands, and repeat orders can go up to 100,000 on the same die.
Design help and dieline setup are free, including right-sizing the box around your product before it's cut. Delivery covers the whole of the USA.
Samples arrive in 5 to 7 business days, and production takes 7 to 10 business days after that. A rush run is available at 5 to 7 business days, and the sample fee is deducted from the bulk invoice.
We'd use the sample to pack a real order, send it through your carrier and see how it arrives before you sign off the full quantity.
Corrugated mailers go into curbside cardboard recycling, and the fluting we use carries high recycled content. Online shoppers expect that from a shipping box now.
Plain kraft liners are the simplest to recycle. A film laminate adds a plastic layer, so if recyclability is part of your brand story, we'd suggest a kraft or white coated liner printed without lamination.
