Oil Packaging Boxes
Glass bottles leak, stain and break, and the carton has to plan for all three.
Oils mark board on contact and glass breaks at the neck. Coated interiors and a fitted cradle handle the two failure modes that actually occur.

Every detail. Intentional.
Oil marks board instantly
A coated interior, always.
Necks break first
Cradles support at two points.
Upright is non-negotiable
Tipping means seepage.
Volume declared on panel
The purchase unit.
Light degrades many oils
Cartons block what glass cannot.
Multi-bottle dividers
Glass must not touch glass.

Built like architecture.
Every order of Oil Packaging Boxes is an engineered build, measured, dieline-cut and hand-wrapped to spec. Below is the standard build sheet.

Sizing & dieline.
We cut Oil Packaging Boxes to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Oil Packaging Boxes per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Oil Packaging Boxes.
We print on oil-barrier coated board, so a drip on the bottle can't soak into the fibres. Uncoated board turns translucent wherever oil touches it, and a stained carton can't go back on the shelf.
The barrier coat sits on the inside, where the bottle makes contact, so the printed outside stays unmarked. For a natural look we also offer kraft board with the same barrier coating.
With a snug-fit carton or a collar insert that supports the bottle at the neck and the base. Tall, narrow glass tends to break at the neck first, so a cradle that grips two points stops the bottle swinging when the box is tipped.
We also build these on auto or lock bottoms. A tuck bottom eventually releases under the weight of a full glass bottle, and keeping the bottle upright stops oil seeping past the cap.
Yes, we cut multi-bottle cartons with board dividers so no two bottles touch. Glass knocking against glass is what cracks in transit, and a divider between each one stops it.
Tell us the bottle count and sizes and we'll lay out the insert to hold each one upright. Gift trios and tasting sets are the usual reason people ask, and a window patch on the front lets the colour of each oil show.
Foil and deboss are the usual choice for premium culinary oils, often over a matte soft-touch laminate. Gloss lamination and spot UV are available for a brighter shelf presence.
A window patch works well where the colour of the oil helps sell it, though it gives up some of the light protection a closed carton offers. We print CMYK and Pantone colours, and the side panel is sized with room for whatever labelling your oil requires.
Our common sizes are 2.5 x 2.5 x 9 inches for 500ml and 3 x 3 x 11 inches for 750ml. Bottle shapes differ a lot, so we treat those as a starting point.
Send us a bottle or its drawing and we'll size the carton to the widest point and the full height with the cap on. If you want a collar insert, we add the room for it at the same stage.
The first run can be as small as 500 cartons. That suits a single oil launching in one bottle size, and larger programmes can go to 100,000 once the range is set.
We don't charge for dieline setup or design help, which matters on this format because the insert and bottle fit usually take a round of adjustment. Cartons ship to any US state.
Bulk cartons are produced in 7 to 10 business days, or in 5 to 7 when you need them rushed. A sample built to your bottle takes 5 to 7 business days, and we credit its fee back when you place the production order.
Check the sample with a filled bottle. Tip it, shake it gently and open it a few times, which shows whether the collar and the base hold up before the full run.
18 to 20pt SBS paperboard is our standard for bottle cartons of this size. It's stiff enough for tall glass and prints cleanly for premium work. Recyclable board is available too.
A closed carton also blocks light completely, which dark glass and tins only partly manage. Brands often call that light protection out on a side panel.
