A vacuum-formed tray with a curved channel, and it is the part of the pack that actually matters. A strip lash is shaped on a curved former and keeps that curve until something presses it flat, so the tray holds it off the carton wall. We leave about 8mm of clearance above the tray, more for dramatic styles with longer fibres.

Trays come in PET, rPET or moulded fibre. Fibre holds the curve well but shows less clearly beneath a window.

A window carton on 18pt SBS for value lines, and a magnetic book box on 1.5mm greyboard where the pack will be re-used. Strip lashes get worn ten or more times, and the box goes back in a drawer between wears, so a rigid magnetic close is function rather than luxury. The folding carton is cheaper and still stiff enough for a shallow window box opened repeatedly.

Multi-pair collection sets nearly always go rigid, with each pair in its own slot.

A full-front rectangle showing the whole tray sells hardest on a peg, and an oval or arch reads more boutique. Customers buy strip lashes on the visible shape, so the aperture should expose the lash band and ideally the tray colour behind it. On a magnetic book box the window sits in the lid so the style shows before opening.

The film changes the recycling stream. PET and rPET are standard, and a plant-based PLA film is available for brands avoiding conventional plastic.

Soft-touch on the book box, with hot foil for the logo and style name. The box is handled constantly, which is why the velvet finish dominates at the premium end, and foil reads cleanly against the matte fields the category favours. Holographic foil is heavy in dramatic and trend-led ranges.

An emboss on a rigid lid adds texture where there is room to feel it. Black matte with gold foil is the counter classic, and pink with rose gold covers the softer end.

Around 3.0 by 2.0 by 0.8 inches for a single pair, and about 3.5 by 3.5 by 1.0 inches for a multi-pair set. The depth is set by the tray plus the curve clearance above it, which is where most stock lash boxes go wrong. Dramatic styles with longer fibres need more headroom than a natural wisp.

Style names printed on the box count as separate versions. Brands with a dozen styles usually keep the print common and put the style name on a small card in the tray, which keeps the whole range inside one minimum.

Bulk orders ship in 7 to 10 business days from artwork approval, or 5 to 7 business days on a rush. A sample of the carton with your tray fitted takes 5 to 7 business days. We strongly suggest one for a magnetic box, since the closure and the window registration are what a customer notices first.

The sample charge is deducted from the production invoice when you go ahead.

Yes, with a tissue wrap inside and a branded mailer outside for shipping. The retail carton is built for a peg or a counter: front window, style name up front, room for a barcode. For e-commerce the same box travels inside a mailer that takes the knocks, and the tray keeps the curve either way.

A rigid book box ships better loose than a folding carton, since the window film on a folding box can crease under a heavy parcel.
