Plastic or metal peg hooks that push through X-cuts in the corrugated back panel and lock behind the board. Plastic hooks suit light blister cards and bagged items, and metal hooks carry heavier packs or longer runs of stock. Scan-bar hooks add a label strip at the front for the price and barcode.

The X-slits are cut during die-cutting, so the hooks fit snugly without loose holes.

Each hook is good for a few pounds of product, and the back panel is engineered to carry every hook fully loaded at once. The board around the hook is where a display fails first, so heavier ranges get a double-wall back or a reinforcing pad behind each row. We check the full load on the sample before the run.

Spacing is set by the width of your packs, with enough gap that shoppers can lift one off without knocking the next. B-flute hook panels are usually laid out on a 1 in grid of X-cuts, which lets hooks sit in whatever columns your blister cards need. Rows are spaced by pack height plus room for a hand.

Once the hook layout is fixed, the artwork is planned around it so the graphics show between the packs.

Hook displays come as floor stands, countertop units and narrow sidekicks that clip to a shelf end. Floor stands hold a full range at several heights, countertop versions sit by the till for impulse items, and sidekicks add hooks to an existing aisle. Choose by how much stock the store will hold and where it will let the display stand.

Anything packed on a blister card, header card or hang-tab bag, such as phone accessories, batteries, hair clips, small hardware, keychains and snacks in peg bags. Hooks show the front of every pack at once, which suits ranges where shoppers pick by colour or size. Boxed items without a hang tab need a shelf display instead, or a hang tab added to their packaging.

The header and side panels carry the brand and product line, while the back panel shows through the gaps between packs. Use a strong colour or pattern on the back panel instead of fine detail, because most of it will be covered once the hooks are full. Price and variant names go on scan-bar strips or the header.

Hook displays are produced in 7 to 10 business days after artwork approval, and rush takes 5 to 7 business days. A sample in 5 to 7 business days lets you hang the full range, check the hook spacing and load the panel before the run. The sample fee is credited back on the bulk order.
