Luxury Gift Boxes
Wrapped rigid board and a lined interior, in the format that gets kept rather than thrown away.

Sizing & dieline.
We cut Luxury Gift Boxes to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Luxury Gift Boxes per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Luxury Gift Boxes.
Luxury comes down to construction tolerance and material choice at every point the hand touches. A premium box usually gets some of these right. A luxury build uses 2 to 3mm chipboard cores that feel heavy the moment they're picked up, a lid that settles onto the base with a slow, quiet fit, a lining chosen as a material rather than a default, and foil or embossing placed to suit the design.
Boxes built this way are kept and reused far longer than almost any other packaging we make, which is the return on the extra spend.
Velvet, satin, printed paper, EVA foam and specialty materials such as suede or fabric are all available. Velvet has the most tactile impact and is the usual choice for jewellery and watches. Satin is slightly cheaper and works across most gift types. Printed paper is the most flexible and cost-effective at volume, and EVA foam holds products firmly in cut-outs.
From most to least costly, the order is roughly specialty materials, velvet, satin, premium paper and standard paper.
On this line we build ribbon-tied closures and telescoping lids, and a ribbon pull can be added to lift an insert. A ribbon tie turns the opening into a small ceremony, which suits weddings and milestone gifts. A telescoping lid lifts straight off the base and closes cleanly again for years of reuse.
For seasonal programmes, keep the structure the same and change the ribbon colour, tissue and inner card. The box stays recognisably your brand's through every occasion.
Soft-touch lamination with hot foil is the standard luxury pairing, often with a debossed logo pressed into the lid. The finishes go onto the wrap paper before it is laid over the chipboard, so they stay crisp over every edge. Spot UV gloss adds contrast on a matte ground, and linen or embossed papers give texture without lamination.
Corporate programmes often add personalised foiling with a recipient or company name. Interior print is worth the extra, because the inside is the first thing seen when the lid lifts.
We measure the contents first, build a fitted platform around them, then set the outer box to hold the platform with its lining and tissue. Common finished sizes are 10 x 8 x 4 inches and 12 x 10 x 5 inches, though most luxury boxes are sized to order. Loose contents rattle and undo the effect of everything else.
Send the item or exact measurements, plus anything else that goes in, such as a card or a pouch.
A luxury gift box order starts at 500 units. Multi-component builds with ribbon, a printed inner card, a fitted insert and a specialty lining follow the same minimum. Larger corporate volumes, including kitting of the contents, are quoted on the same spec.
Design and dieline support are free, and we deliver across the USA.
Allow 7 to 10 business days from artwork approval for a standard run. For gifts with a fixed delivery date, build in time for a sample, which takes 5 to 7 business days, and for any kitting of the contents. A rush of 5 to 7 business days is there if the date is tight.
The sample fee is set against the production order when you proceed.
Ship them inside a sleeve or outer mailer sized to protect the corners. Corners take most of the damage in international freight and customs handling, and a crushed corner on wrapped board can't be repaired. The outer should hold the box snugly with clearance at each corner.
A branded outer keeps the presentation going before the gift box itself is seen, and on high-value corporate gifts we think it's worth the added cost.
