Luxury Pillow Boxes
The simplest shape given the most expensive treatment, which is foil on a curve.
Heavier caliper holds the curve properly, and finishes go on top: foil, soft-touch, deboss. It stays a scored sheet, but a considerably better one.

Every detail. Intentional.
Heavier caliper holds shape
The premium version's basis.
Foil across a curve
Harder than on a flat panel.
Soft-touch on the arc
Handled before it opens.
Windows in the curve
Die-cut through the bow.
Ribbon slots cut in
Cleaner than tied bows.
Still ships flat
The economics stay good.

Built like architecture.
Every order of Luxury Pillow Boxes is an engineered build, measured, dieline-cut and hand-wrapped to spec. Below is the standard build sheet.

Sizing & dieline.
We cut Luxury Pillow Boxes to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Luxury Pillow Boxes per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Luxury Pillow Boxes.
The board is heavier, 24pt or more, so the curve stays crisp, and the finishing goes on top of that. Foil, soft-touch lamination and deboss do most of the work. The construction is still one scored sheet that ships flat.
Specialty stocks carry the rest: dyed-through board, metallised board, pearlescent grades and textured papers. Much of the perceived quality comes from how the heavier sheet feels when someone picks it up.
Dyed-through stock is coloured all the way through, so the cut edges stay in colour and don't flash white. On a pillow box the curved ends put the cut edges right where the eye goes when the box is opened.
Printed board shows a white core at every cut, which looks cheap on a dark or saturated design. We would use dyed-through board on any black or deep-coloured premium pillow.
Foil reads better on a curve than on a flat panel, because light rakes across the arc and the metal changes brightness as the box moves. Spot UV does the same thing more quietly. Foil stamped where the board will bend needs care, so we keep foiled marks off the score lines.
Foil on soft-touch lamination is the classic pairing. Soft-touch scuffs more easily than gloss in transit, so wrap these boxes in tissue or pack them in a mailer before they go out.
Yes, we can cut ribbon slots into the die so the ribbon threads through the face. It looks cleaner than a bow tied round the whole box, and the ribbon stays where you put it when the box is handled.
A tag can hang from the same ribbon. Tell us the ribbon width at the quote stage and we size the slots to suit, since a tight slot creases satin and a loose one lets it slide.
It costs a fraction of a rigid box and still gives you much of the premium feel, which is the main commercial case for it. It also ships and stores flat, where a rigid box arrives made up and fills a lot of space.
The trade-off is volume. Finishing doesn't change the format's limit, so the contents still need to be slim. Jewellery, luxury confectionery and favours suit it, while anything bulky or heavy belongs in a rigid box.
Our common premium sizes are 5 × 4 × 1.5 inches and 8 × 5 × 2 inches. The smaller one suits a pendant or a pair of earrings on a card, and the larger one takes a scarf, a small leather piece or a few chocolates.
We can cut any size to order, and the sample stage is where we confirm the heavier board still closes cleanly at the ends.
The minimum is 500 boxes, the same as our standard pillow range, so the premium finishes don't raise the entry quantity. Boutique jewellery and accessory brands often place that first order and reorder once the design has proved itself.
Free design support includes placing foil and deboss marks on the dieline, which matters more here than on a plain box because the marks sit on a curve.
The production window is 7 to 10 business days from approved artwork, with the extra finishes included in that time. A rush order moves through in 5 to 7 business days.
With several finishes stacked on one box, we'd strongly suggest a sample first. It's ready in 5 to 7 business days and lets you feel the soft-touch and check the foil on the curve. The fee is credited to the production run.
