Peelable Blister Packaging.

Peel strength is tuned to a window, measured in newtons, that holds through shipping and still releases by hand. If the seal is too strong the lid tears or needs scissors, and if it's too weak the pack can open in transit. We control it through the seal layer, the heat and the dwell time on the sealer.

Every new build is opened by real hands during QC before we sign it off.

A clean peel depends on the lidding's seal coating and the blister's seal layer being made to work together. Pair the wrong two and you get either a weld that shreds the film or a bond that lets go too easily. We specify them as a couple and never as two separate sheets.

The right pairing is also what lets the flange separate without leaving torn film behind.

We offer peelable foil, paper-based lids and clear films, chosen by what the pack has to do. Foil gives the strongest barrier and is the usual pharma-grade choice. Paper-based lids suit brands cutting plastic, and a clear film lets the contents show through the lid.

Peel-reseal versions add a tacky layer so the lid can be pressed back down between uses.

A chevron peel has the seal meet in a V at one corner, so opening starts at a point and spreads evenly across the flange. Starting narrow keeps the force low at the moment the seal breaks, which is where a lid is most likely to tear. The geometry comes from sterile medical trays and works just as well on consumer packs.

We can tool the chevron into the flange of a standard cavity.

Yes, the lid face takes print, and it's the best place for the brand and a clear start-here mark at the peel corner. A printed arrow or tab at that corner cuts down on fumbling and torn lids. The backing card can be printed CMYK with spot UV as well.

On a clear film lid, we keep print to the edges so the product stays visible.

We start from the product and build out the flange width, since the flange is where the seal and the peel happen. A flange that is too narrow gives the peel nowhere to run, and a corner tab needs extra room to grip. Formats are custom, so there's no fixed size chart.
