Plexiglass Display Case
Fabricated acrylic with a lockable face, for merchandise that cannot sit loose on the counter.

Sizing & dieline.
We cut Plexiglass Display Case to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Plexiglass Display Case per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Plexiglass Display Case.
Thickness follows the span of each panel, and once a face runs past about two feet we move to 6mm or heavier. Thinner sheet on a wide face bows inward over time, which distorts the view and puts stress on the joints. Our largest cases use 6 to 10mm walls.
Smaller covers can go lighter. We size each panel on its own merits instead of using one sheet gauge for the whole case.
Yes, we fit locks and tamper-resistant hardware on hinged-face cases meant for public display. The acrylic itself is rarely what gives out. Hinges and fixings wear first, so we specify the hardware to the weight of the door and how often staff will open it.
For collector cases that stay closed at home, a fitted base-and-cover design without a lock is usually enough.
Standard clear acrylic still passes some ultraviolet light, so for anything near a window or under strong lighting we recommend a UV-filtering sheet grade. For signed memorabilia, framed jerseys and printed items, that upgrade is the part of the specification that matters most.
Gasket-fitted covers are available too, and they keep dust out between cleanings. At the top tier we use inert mounting fixings of the kind conservators ask for, so nothing in the case reacts with the piece.
Branding on acrylic is usually applied vinyl or an etched plaque, since printing across the clear panels would block the view of what is inside. Vinyl can be cut to a logo shape or run as a strip along the base. Etched plaques suit collector pieces and carry a name, a date or a provenance note.
The base is the other branding surface. We offer black, mirror and wrapped platforms, and the wrap can carry full-colour artwork.
Exposed edges are flame-polished so they come out glass-clear instead of frosted from the saw. Buyers notice edge quality before almost anything else on an acrylic case, and a cloudy or chipped edge makes an expensive item look cheap.
For care, a soft cloth and a plastic cleaner are all it needs. Never use an ammonia product on acrylic, because it causes the fine surface cracking known as crazing.
Our common range runs from a 10 × 10 × 10 in cube up to 36 × 24 × 24 in, and other sizes are quoted to the object. Measure the item at its widest points, then allow clearance on every side so it is not touching the walls.
Tell us whether you want a base-and-cover, a wall-mount, a dome or a fully custom shape, since the format changes how the dimensions are specified.
Yes, the minimum for this product is 500 cases. A run that size usually suits a retail rollout, a collectibles line or a brand fitting out several stores with the same cabinet.
Every case in the order is cut from one approved panel plan, so thickness, hardware and base finish match across the whole lot.
Plan on 7 to 10 business days for a standard order, or 5 to 7 if you need it rushed. A sample case can be made in 5 to 7 business days so you can test the door, the lock and the fit of the item before the full run starts.
We credit the sample fee against the production order and deliver to any state in the USA.
