Promotion Gift Boxes
Branded giveaways at real volume, where cost per unit decides the whole design.
Promotional boxes ship in thousands with a fixed budget per unit. Every specification decision is a cost decision, and the print has to carry the brand alone.

Every detail. Intentional.

Sizing & dieline.
We cut Promotion Gift Boxes to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Promotion Gift Boxes per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Promotion Gift Boxes.
It follows the recipient: printed folding cartons for event swag, magnetic collapsibles for client gifts and rigid boxes for executives. Each step up adds board weight and assembly cost, so the tier usually tracks the guest list.
Most corporate programmes land on the magnetic collapsible, which ships flat, sets up by hand and looks rigid on the desk.
Freight and storage for thousands of boxes cost far less when they arrive flat. A collapsible rigid box folds down and then pops up and locks when the kitting team opens it, so you keep the rigid look without paying to ship air.
On a big programme, assembly time is real labour cost. We time how fast a sample erects by hand before the dieline is approved.
Yes, we lay out generic bays sized for a range of items rather than one cavity per product. A mug bay can take a tumbler, and a flat bay takes a notebook or a card, so a single insert covers several kit versions.
We need the full contents list for every version before cutting the die. Designing the insert together with the box avoids a tray that fits one kit and rattles in the next.
Usually less than the first draft has, because a tasteful box gets kept and a billboard gets thrown away. One foil or printed logo on the lid, matched to your corporate colour, keeps the brand on the recipient's desk for months.
If the campaign message has to change, put it on a printed sleeve and keep the box plain. Window patches and holographic finishes aren't offered on this style.
Most programmes run 8 x 6 x 3 inches for a small kit and 10 x 8 x 4 inches for a fuller one. Those sizes take a drinkware item plus two or three smaller pieces with a note card on top.
We measure from the largest item and the insert layout, then quote inside dimensions. Keeping every kit version in one outer size helps the kitting line move faster.
Yes, 500 is our starting quantity for this style, so an event that size is covered. Programmes often run far higher for year-end client gifting, and the unit cost drops as quantity rises.
If you know onboarding kits will be needed later in the year, adding them to the same order usually works out cheaper than a second run.
Plan on 7 to 10 business days in production after proof approval, with 5 to 7 available on rush. A sample box, built and sent in 5 to 7 business days, lets you check the insert against every kit version.
Kitting and fulfilment add their own time after production. The sample cost is credited back once the full order is placed.
Kraft board and litho-laminated builds are the two workhorses when budget per unit decides. Kraft takes a one-colour logo cheaply, and litho-lam puts full-colour print on a stronger base. Unlaminated kraft goes into paper recycling with nothing to separate.
Film lamination and foil are the first things to cut when the numbers don't work. A clean one-colour print on natural kraft often looks more considered than a thin full-colour job.
