Serum Boxes
Airless pumps run taller than their volume suggests, so measure the bottle rather than the millilitres.
Pump mechanisms and internal pistons add real height, so a 30ml airless can need the carton a 50ml dropper would use. It is the commonest error corrected at dieline stage.

Every detail. Intentional.

Built like architecture.
Every order of Serum Boxes is an engineered build, measured, dieline-cut and hand-wrapped to spec. Below is the standard build sheet.

Sizing & dieline.
We cut Serum Boxes to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Serum Boxes per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Serum Boxes.
Most serum boxes are straight tuck end cartons on 18pt or 20pt SBS C1S. A reverse tuck is the choice if your filler runs an automatic cartoning line, because those machines are set up for it.
For glass bottles, add a paperboard collar or a PET tray inside so the bottle stays centred and upright when the box opens.
Yes, the carton works as a light barrier when it is printed with full ink coverage or foiled across the panels. Metallised board goes further, since the reflective layer blocks light completely.
Leave windows and large unprinted white areas off these cartons. Bright SBS with light ink coverage lets through more light than most people expect.
We put claims, percentages and results on the two large faces and gather the mandatory copy on one side panel. The INCI list, PAO symbol, batch code and MoCRA contact then sit together where a buyer expects to find them.
Keeping the fine print on one panel stops it crowding the front. SBS holds small clinical type without fill-in, so the copy stays readable at small sizes.
Pick one direction and commit to it, plain matte lamination for a clinical look or soft-touch with foil for a premium one. Mixing the two usually reads as neither.
Serum panels are text-heavy, which is why a single foiled percentage or a spot UV callout on the key active gets noticed. That callout is usually the thing the customer is buying.
Measure the bottle fully assembled, pump or dropper included, because fill volume tells you very little. A 30ml airless usually needs about 1.4 × 1.4 × 4.0 in, taller than the 1.3 × 1.3 × 3.7 in a 30ml dropper takes, since the piston and pump both add height.
Sizing from millilitres is the error we most often fix at dieline stage. A physical bottle sent to us settles it.
PCW recycled board is the usual pick for refill and sustainability-led serums. FBB is another option, with a warmer white and good bulk that suits cream and botanical palettes.
Finish with an aqueous coating in place of a plastic laminate if the carton needs to go into paper recycling without a caveat.
Serum cartons can be ordered from 500 units. A range of several actives usually shares one structure, with the name and callout changing per version, so a single die covers all of them.
If your bottles differ in height across the range, tell us, since that decides whether one carton size will work.
Expect 7 to 10 business days in production after sign-off, or 5 to 7 when you book a rush. For a new bottle, get a sample made first. It takes 5 to 7 business days and shows whether the insert holds the glass properly.
We credit the sample fee against the production order, and design and dieline help costs nothing.
