Sizing & dieline.
We cut Sleeves for Soap Boxes to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Sleeves for Soap Boxes per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Everything you need to know about Sleeves for Soap Boxes.
The open ends let shoppers smell the bar before they buy, and they let the bar keep breathing after it's packed. A sleeve wraps only the middle, so the scent reaches the customer at the shelf.
A fully sealed wrap holds moisture against the paper. On a soap pack that usually shows up as marks and a softened, wrinkled sleeve by the time the bar is sold.
A band is the minimal option, and a full sleeve gives you more room for print and text. A narrow band uses the least board and leaves most of the bar on show, which suits makers who sell on the look of the soap itself. A full sleeve covers both faces and leaves only the ends open.
If the ingredients block and a brand story both need to fit, go full sleeve. A band gets crowded quickly on a bar about 3.5 inches long.
We build them with a glued seam, a tuck, or a sticker seal, depending on how fast your bench needs to go. A glued seam arrives as a ready-made tube that slides straight on. A tuck closes around the bar without any glue.
A printed sticker seal is the quickest close for makers wrapping by hand, and it gives you a spot for the scent name, so one sleeve design can serve several bars.
Uncoated kraft is our standard because it takes oil marks without looking spoiled. On brown kraft the odd spot reads as part of the natural finish, while a coated white stock shows every stain.
If you want a white or photographic sleeve, we coat the side that sits against the bar. Cotton-feel stocks are the premium choice for a softer hand, and recycled grades are there when the brand makes a sustainability claim.
One-colour print on kraft and botanical illustration families are the two we're asked for most. The one-colour letterpress look suits an artisan brand, and a deboss on kraft adds a mark people can feel. Foil stamping, spot UV and matte or soft-touch lamination are all available on white stocks.
For a range, we'd keep one layout and change the illustration and colour per scent, so the bars read as one family on a market table.
Size the sleeve to a cured bar, measured once it has finished shrinking. Handmade bars lose a little size as they cure and vary from batch to batch, so a sleeve cut to a freshly made bar ends up loose. Send us the length, width and height of a few finished bars.
A common bar is about 3.5 × 2.5 × 1.2 in, and we make bands and full sleeves to that footprint or to your own.
You can start with 500 soap sleeves. That fits a maker's first run comfortably, and the same design can be reordered in larger quantities, up to 100,000, as wholesale accounts come in. We ship them flat, ready to fold and fit at the bench.
If you sell several scents, tell us how many versions you need and we'll quote the whole range together.
Once you sign off the artwork, soap sleeves are printed and cut in 7 to 10 business days. A rush slot brings that down to 5 to 7 business days when a market or trade show is close.
A printed sample takes 5 to 7 business days, and we'd always send one first so you can slide it onto real cured bars before the full run is cut. The sleeve sample is charged, and that charge is credited back on your production order.
