No. A circle bag is specified by one figure, its diameter, with common sizes at 3, 4 and 5 inches across. There is no width, length or gusset to state. The fill sits inside the sealed circular margin, so the usable area is the diameter less the seal width on each side.

The seal runs evenly around a curve with no straight runs, which the tooling has to follow cleanly. A round die cuts the outline and a matched seal plate closes the perimeter. Heavier gauge film holds a clean cut edge around the curve and resists fraying.

Because there are no corners, there are no corner seals to fail, which is a small structural advantage over a rectangle.

Discs, rounds and flat items that would rattle in a rectangular pouch. A round pack and a round product reinforce each other, especially in clear PET over LLDPE where the shape shows. Large-volume fills are a poor fit, because film waste is high when circles nest on the web.

The pack usually hangs rather than stacks, so a reinforced hang patch is punched into the sealed margin.

A run starts at 500 pouches of one diameter. Tiered pricing applies above 1,000 and runs are quoted up to 100,000. The cutting die is a separate one-off charge on the first order and is not repeated.

A 3 inch and a 4 inch bag need separate dies and are separate runs.

Allow 7 to 10 business days from approved artwork, with die-making inside that window on a first order. Rush at 5 to 7 business days is possible once the die exists. Samples take 5 to 7 business days and show the cut edge and the seal around the curve before you commit.

Yes. The laminate spec does not follow the shape, so metallised, foil, kraft and clear structures are all available round. Recyclability follows the film, not the outline: a clear mono PE or PP structure recycles in the same stream it would as a rectangle, and a laminate does not.

Heavier gauge is recommended whichever structure is chosen, to hold the curved edge cleanly.
