Cushion Packaging Boxes
Compressible contents in a box sized for what it becomes, not what it ships as.
Cushions and inserts compress for freight and recover on the shelf. The pack has to allow both, and let the fabric breathe while it waits.

Every detail. Intentional.
Compressed to ship
Recovered to sell.

Dimensional weight dominates
Volume is the cost.

Built like architecture.
Each Cushion Packaging Boxes is an engineered object — measured, dieline-cut, and hand-wrapped to spec. Below: the standard build sheet.

Sizing & dieline.
Every Cushion Packaging Boxes is cut to a dieline built around your product — not pulled off a shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points — not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product — we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
Cushion Packaging Boxes is priced per specification rather than from a fixed list — the same box in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

“Our unboxing experience went from forgettable to remarkable. The magnetic close is chef's kiss.”
“Fast turnaround, flawless quality, and the design support is genuinely exceptional.”
Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Cushion Packaging Boxes.
For shipping, usually yes — the freight saving is substantial and recurs on every shipment. But there is one thing you must do alongside it.
Cushions are almost all air, and carriers bill on dimensional weight, so you are paying to ship volume rather than product. Vacuum compression can reduce that volume to a fraction of loose, and on any real quantity that is a meaningful ongoing saving.
The catch is recovery time. Foam and fibre fill decompress over hours, sometimes more than a day. A customer who opens the box straight away sees something flat and creased, does not know it will recover, and concludes the product is poor — so you get a complaint or a return on a perfectly good cushion.
The fix is purely packaging: print a prominent, clear recovery instruction where the customer sees it at the moment of opening, stating that the cushion will regain its shape and roughly how long it takes. Not in a leaflet — on the inside of the lid or on the bag itself.
For retail display, do not compress. A cushion in a shop has to look full.
