A channelled tray holds each barrel in its own lane so the markers cannot roll into each other. Rolling chips the caps, and a set with chipped caps no longer looks new on the shelf. The channels also fix the colour order, which buyers expect to see in sequence.

The tray is die-cut boxboard for standard sets and a fitted rigid tray for artist ranges.

Horizontal or nib-down, and the tray enforces it. A nib-up tray lets the tip dry while ink sits in the barrel, and the first stroke out of the box disappoints. We build trays that lie the markers flat or stand them tip-first, and we don't quote nib-up storage trays.

Standing display formats angle the tray so the nibs stay charged while the range is visible.

Yes, a convertible lid folds back or props up to turn the box into a standing holder. Markers are used over months, so the pack stays on the desk and the brand stays in view. The construction closes again after each use without the hinge wearing through.

This works best in rigid board on premium sets, though folding boxboard versions are available for school ranges.

Full CMYK with a window panel, so the real pigment is visible rather than a printed chart. Colour count and tip type go on the front, since those are the two figures customers compare. Matte lamination suits artist and professional sets, and kraft natural fits refillable and eco ranges.

Gloss is available for school ranges where shelf impact matters more than hand feel.

A 12-count box runs 6 by 4 by 1 inches and a 24-count box 8 by 5 by 1 inches. 48-count sets are built as a two-layer tray or a wider single layer. We measure barrel diameter and length from your marker and set the channel pitch from that.

Singles and hang-tab formats are sized to the one barrel plus the tab.

Five hundred units is the starting quantity. Set boxes, singles and standing displays are each quoted at that minimum, with tiered pricing once you pass 1,000. The channelled tray is included in the unit price rather than tooled separately.

Mixed counts in one order are fine as long as each size meets the minimum.

A standard run is delivered in 7 to 10 business days from proof approval. If you need the marker boxes sooner, rush production takes 5 to 7 business days. A physical sample of the tray and carton takes 5 to 7 business days, and that fee is credited back on the bulk order.

Yes, ink reaches board quickly, so the tray and interior use a coated surface that doesn't wick. A bare kraft tray will stain from the first leaking nib and the whole set looks used. A coated boxboard interior wipes clean and keeps the colour order legible.

The outer stays recyclable board, since the coating is a thin aqueous layer rather than a plastic film.
