Latex perishes under UV, so an opaque carton is a protective specification rather than a styling one. Light through a clear window shortens the shelf life of the band inside it. We print a colour swatch on the panel to show the band colour, and where a buyer insists on seeing product we cut a small aperture rather than a full clear window.

Full clear windows are not something we offer on this format.

Each coil sits in its own sleeve or channel of a fitted tray, which holds it wound tight. Left loose, a band unwinds and fills whatever space the carton gives it, so the pack ends up bulging and looks handled. For sets, the tray holds the bands in resistance order so the progression from light to heavy is obvious the moment the lid comes off.

Colour, a word and a number together, kept consistent across the whole range. Band colours are not standardised between brands, so a colour band on its own tells a shopper nothing reliable. We set up a coding system that reads light, medium or heavy alongside the resistance figure, then repeat it on the swatch and the set progression panel.

Colour coding by itself is the one thing we advise against on this pack.

Full CMYK on folding boxboard with the resistance level as the largest element is the standard retail spec. Matte lamination goes on for higher-tier fitness ranges, and kraft board suits natural-latex and eco ranges. The panel carries a clear latex content statement, or a latex-free mark for ranges that need it, and both are positioned where they read before purchase.

A reinforced hang tab is built in because this category sells from a peg rather than a shelf.

Common cartons are 8 by 5 by 2 inches for a small set and 10 by 6 by 3 inches for five bands with a tray. The number and width of the coils set the footprint, and the tray depth follows the thickest band. Tell us the band count and whether they are loop or tube style and we size the channels from there.

It is 500 units for one size and print. Orders above 1,000 drop into lower price tiers, with capacity up to 100,000 on a single run. The fitted tray is quoted with the carton rather than as a separate line with its own minimum.

Standard production runs 7 to 10 business days once the proof is signed off. Rush jobs go through in 5 to 7 business days. A sample takes 5 to 7 business days, and we recommend one so you can check the coils stay seated in their channels after a shake test.

Sample charges are credited to the production order when it is placed.

Yes, kraft board is the usual choice for eco and natural-latex ranges. It is opaque, which is the property this pack needs most, and it prints well in one or two colours for the resistance code. For bright retail artwork we move to white folding boxboard, still with no window so the board keeps doing its job of blocking light.

Either board is recyclable through normal paper collection.
