Soap Wrappers
Paper folded around a bar, the oldest soap packaging there is and still the cheapest.
A printed wrap costs a fraction of a carton and carries the whole brand. It has to resist the bar's own oils without a rigid structure to help.

Every detail. Intentional.
No structure to help
The paper does everything.
Oils reach through uncoated
Barrier or liner needed.
Folded and sealed by hand
Maker-scale assembly.
Cheapest option by far
Which suits small batches.
Ingredients printed on the wrap
Cosmetic rules still apply.

Which the category wants.

Built like architecture.
Every order of Custom Soap Wrappers is an engineered build, measured, dieline-cut and hand-wrapped to spec. Below is the standard build sheet.

Sizing & dieline.
We cut Custom Soap Wrappers to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Custom Soap Wrappers per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Custom Soap Wrappers.
Choose a band if you want the bar on show and breathing freely, and a full wrap if you need more room for print and labelling. A band covers only a strip around the middle, so most of the soap stays exposed. A full wrap covers the whole bar, and the paper still lets scent through at the folds.
Check that the required information fits on a band before you commit, because the surface is small.
Paper between 100 and 150 gsm folds cleanly around a bar without tearing at the corners. Lighter sheets crease unevenly and can split when the bar is handled, while heavier stock springs back and won't hold a crisp fold. Sharp, square folds are what make a wrapper look professionally done.
Cotton-feel stocks sit at the premium end of the range.
Most wrappers are folded around the bar and closed with a printed sticker over the seam. The sticker doubles as a brand mark or scent label, and a band closes the same way at the back. Folding and sealing are usually done by hand at maker scale, which keeps setup simple.
We print the sticker stock alongside the wrappers so the colours match.
Some oil will reach the paper, and uncoated stock handles it far better than coated. On uncoated paper the oil soaks in evenly and looks like part of the sheet, whereas a coated paper holds it on the surface where it spreads into blotches. Recycled and kraft papers behave like other uncoated stocks.
If you want the outside to stay spotless for longer, we can add a thin barrier liner inside the wrap.
One-colour print on uncoated paper is the classic look, often paired with a botanical illustration and a tidy type layout. Full CMYK and Pantone are available too, and hot foil works for a premium range. Plan the layout so the ingredients panel lands on a flat face instead of running across a fold.
Test your art on a folded sample, since fold lines shift slightly from bar to bar.
A standard bar usually takes a sheet of about 8 × 6 in, while bands are commonly around 2 × 10 in. To size your own, measure the bar's length, width and height, then fold a plain sheet of paper round it to find the overlap and fold allowance. We'll turn that into a flat dieline for print.
Wrappers start at 500 pieces, which suits small-batch makers testing a new scent. A paper wrap costs far less per piece than a carton at the same minimum, so it's an easy way to try branded packaging on a new bar. Orders scale up to 100,000.
Printed wrappers take 7 to 10 business days from proof approval, or 5 to 7 on rush. Samples come back in 5 to 7 business days, and we'd suggest folding a few around real bars to check the fit before bulk. The sample cost is set against your production order.
