We can't hold it to a match the way we hold a printed colour, and most kraft brands treat the variation as part of the natural look. We die-cut small ventilation holes or a shaped vent into the panels so moisture from a recently made bar can escape. A fully closed carton traps that moisture between the soap and the board. Vents can be arranged as a pattern or a logo so they read as part of the design.

A sleeve that leaves the ends open is the other route if you package bars early.

A tuck-end carton is standard, often finished with twine and a printed sticker for a handmade look. Twine suits kraft better than satin ribbon. We don't offer auto-lock bottoms or film window patches on this box, which keeps it all paper and simple to recycle.

Print on kraft looks muted, so single dark colours and one-colour stamp-style art work best. Bright full-colour artwork loses punch on brown stock because the board shows through the ink. Debossing gives a quiet, tactile logo on kraft, and hot foil adds sharp contrast.

Botanical line drawings suit both the stock and the category.

Measure a fully cured bar, because soap shrinks slightly as it cures and a box sized to a fresh bar ends up loose. Common kraft soap boxes run around 3.5 × 2.5 × 1.2 in or 4 × 3 × 1.5 in, measured inside as length, width and depth. We add a little clearance so the bar slides in without scuffing.

Yes, an unlaminated kraft box goes straight into paper recycling as made. Recycled kraft and recycled-content grades are available if you want the claim on your pack backed by a stated percentage. Skip lamination if full recyclability is the goal, since uncoated kraft handles bar oils well without it.

The minimum is 500 kraft boxes per order. That's a manageable first run for a maker selling at markets, and the ceiling is 100,000 once wholesale accounts pick you up.
