The fitted nest grips the syringe at the finger flange and along the barrel, leaving the needle end free of any load. If the syringe can slide, the barrel can crack, the needle shield can shift and the plunger can creep. Holding the device still at those two points stops all three.

Yes, the carton can be sized around a Tyvek-lidded tray or tub, so the sterile barrier stays the primary pack and the carton adds protection and labelling. The outer board takes the knocks and keeps the lid from being punctured. We need the tray's exact outer dimensions, including the lid flange, before drawing the dieline.

We design the opening for low dexterity, with a large pull tab or tear strip and a tray that presents the syringe the right way up. People self-injecting are often unwell or elderly, so small tucks and tight inserts cause trouble. The instruction leaflet sits on top, where it's found before the device.

We make syringe cartons from SBS or folding boxboard, finished with matte or gloss lamination or a water-based aqueous coat. Aqueous or unlaminated board takes lot and expiry coding more reliably than a laminate. For multi-packs, a rigid outer carton adds crush protection on top of the fitted nest.

A single-syringe carton is typically around 1.5 × 1.5 × 7 in, and a multi-pack about 4 × 3 × 7 in. Syringe length changes with fill volume and plunger rod style, so we measure the assembled syringe with its needle shield on. The nest is then cut to that exact profile.

Yes, we size the carton to fit inside your insulated shipper and leave room on the panel for a temperature indicator. Paperboard softens in condensation, so an aqueous or laminated finish is a sensible addition for refrigerated products. Tell us the shipper's inside dimensions and we'll work to them.

Syringe cartons and their inserts can be ordered from 500 sets. The insert is cut to your device, so a modest first run is a sensible way to check it on your packing line before scaling up. We quote the carton and the nest together as one item.

Syringe cartons are in production for 7 to 10 business days, with rush jobs finished in 5 to 7. For any fitted nest we send a physical sample first, which takes 5 to 7 business days and is credited to your order when you proceed. Dieline and structural design are free.
