Lingerie Boxes
Discretion outside and presentation inside are two briefs pulling in opposite directions.

Sizing & dieline.
We cut Lingerie Boxes to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Lingerie Boxes per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Everything you need to know about Lingerie Boxes.
Fine fabric folds almost flat, so a deep box would leave the pieces sliding around in empty space. Our standard depths are 2.5 and 3 inches, enough for a folded set in tissue with a light press from the lid. That shallow profile also mails more easily.
The exception is moulded cups, which should not be crushed. For those we build a deeper box so the cup keeps its shape.
Every surface the fabric touches is kept smooth, and edges are wrapped or burnished so there is nothing to snag. A raw board edge or a rough cut in an insert can pull a thread from lace or silk. We use smooth-laminate board and fold wrap paper over the edges.
Acid-free tissue goes between the garment and the box, which also suits customers who keep the box for storing pieces long term.
All three are available, and they line up with price tier. A shallow two-piece lift-off box is the classic boutique choice. Magnetic closure boxes have become the standard for direct-to-consumer intimates, since they ship well and open neatly. A drawer box slides open for a slower reveal and suits gift sets.
We'd use the drawer style for bridal and gifting ranges, where the opening matters most.
Yes, and many intimates brands prefer it that way. A quiet exterior, perhaps a small foil mark on soft-touch board, keeps the box discreet on a doorstep or in an office mailroom. The brand story then lives on the interior print, which is where the customer is actually looking.
Full CMYK inner print, a printed insert and patterned tissue carry the brand once the lid is lifted.
Soft-touch lamination is the finish we recommend most, because it matches the feel of the product inside. Script foil gives a heritage mark, and blush-and-black palettes are the classic boudoir look. Minimal modern layouts with one colour and plenty of space suit newer labels.
Ribbon ties inside, scented tissue or a sachet add a sensory layer, and a satin or velvet insert can hold smaller pieces in place.
Our two standard sizes are 10 x 7 x 2.5 inches and 12 x 9 x 3 inches. The smaller box takes a folded bralette and brief set, and the larger one holds a bodysuit, a lightweight robe or a set with tissue layers. Measure the pieces folded, in tissue, with the lid pressing lightly.
Moulded bras and gift sets usually need custom depth, which we'll work out from a sample.
Lingerie boxes can be ordered from 500 units. Magnetic, lift-off and drawer styles all start there, and orders can scale up to 100,000.
Newer labels often begin with one size and one finish, then add a gift tier once they know which pieces sell as presents.
Production takes 7 to 10 business days after sign-off, and rush orders take 5 to 7. Soft-touch and foil are best judged in person, so we'd suggest a sample first. It takes 5 to 7 business days, and the sample fee is credited against your production run.
