Swimwear Boxes
Small, light and sold on colour, so the window does most of the selling.
Swimwear folds to almost nothing, so the pack is compact and print-led. Clear panels let the print and colourway sell without the box being opened.

Every detail. Intentional.
Compact by nature
The garment folds to nothing.
Colour sells it
So a clear panel is standard.
Hang-tab retail formats
Sold from a rail, not a shelf.
Moisture-tolerant board
Resort and poolside retail.
Size ranges on the panel
Fast selection at the rack.
Seasonal print cycles
Runs turn over each summer.
Built like architecture.
Every order of Swimwear Boxes is an engineered build, measured, dieline-cut and hand-wrapped to spec. Below is the standard build sheet.

Sizing & dieline.
We cut Swimwear Boxes to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Swimwear Boxes per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Swimwear Boxes.
A shallow two-piece box or a printed mailer-style box, both around paperback size, covers most swim ranges. A folded suit weighs a few ounces and lies almost flat, so there's no need for depth. The shallow profile keeps shipping dimensions down and makes a neat stack on a resort counter.
The mailer version closes with a locking front tuck and can go straight into the carrier network or into a poly mailer for weather cover.
Size the box snugly to the folded bundle and wrap the suit in tissue so it holds its fold. Swim fabric is slippery, and in an oversized box it slides into one corner and arrives as a lump. A tissue wrap sealed with a sticker keeps the bundle square, and a thin card insert can lift it to the right height.
We cut the box from your folded measurements, taken with the tissue on.
Our common sizes are 9 × 6 × 2 in for a one-piece or a bikini set and 11 × 8 × 2.5 in for bundles, cover-ups or two suits. Sizes are measured inside, length by width by depth. Send us the folded dimensions of your largest style and we'll check whether one box can cover the whole range.
A single size across a collection keeps packing simple in peak season and means one reorder instead of several.
Full-colour photographic print is the usual choice, because resort colour and pattern are what the box is selling. CMYK handles bright gradients and beach imagery well. A matte laminate with a warm palette gives a quieter premium look, while gloss makes brights look wetter.
A bright flood colour printed inside pays off on winter orders, when the parcel lands in cold weather and the inside is the first thing seen. Foil and spot UV can pick out the logo.
Yes, kraft and recycled-content board both print well enough for a swim line, and the box stays recyclable afterwards. Brands that make suits from recycled fibre often want the pack to match, and a printed panel on the box can tell that fabric story. Kraft gives a natural brown base, so brights print more muted on it.
If the palette depends on clean whites and neons, white SBS paperboard prints truer and still goes in paper recycling.
A mailer-style build can ship on its own, but a two-piece presentation box should go inside a poly mailer or a small corrugated shipper. Two-piece lids can lift in a parcel sorter, and the printed surface scuffs on conveyors. A poly mailer adds almost no weight to a light parcel and keeps rain off the board.
Many swim brands pair the printed box with a branded poly outer so the parcel still looks like theirs on the doorstep.
The minimum run is 500 printed boxes, and you can order up to 100,000. Swim ranges change artwork every season, so plan quantities around one season's sales per design. Keeping the box structure the same and changing only the print makes each new run quicker to set up.
Five hundred of a shallow 9 × 6 × 2 in box takes a small corner of a stockroom when the boxes arrive flat.
Production is 7 to 10 business days from artwork approval, and a rush lane can finish in 5 to 7. Sampling adds 5 to 7 business days before that, and the sample charge is taken off the bulk invoice. Resort and summer drops tend to land in the same weeks for everyone, so we'd book the sample well before the season starts.
Design and dieline help costs nothing, and delivery covers the whole USA.
