Vacuum Seal Weed Bags
Air removed and volume with it — the pack collapses around what it holds.
Vacuum sealing protects aroma and cuts shipping volume at the same time. Film gauge has to take the pressure, because thin stock punctures at the corners under vacuum.

Sizing & dieline.
Every Vacuum Seal Weed Bags is made to your fill, not pulled off a shelf. A pouch is quoted width × length — tell us what goes inside and how much of it, and we return a measured spec, free, before you commit to anything.
A pouch is sized by what goes in it, not by outside dimensions. Give us the fill weight and, if you can, the bulk — 500 g of granola needs far more bag than 500 g of powder.
We quote width × length. Flat pouches need no gusset figure — the bag lies flat when empty.
Zipper or heat seal only, valve or no valve, window or full barrier. These change the film and the bag height, so they belong in the spec rather than added afterwards.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product — we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
Vacuum Seal Weed Bags is priced per specification rather than from a fixed list — the same box in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Vacuum Seal Weed Bags.
Almost always because the bag is smooth and your machine is a suction sealer. It is the single most common problem with vacuum bags, and it is a specification issue rather than a fault.
A household or countertop suction sealer pulls air out through the open end of the bag. If the film is smooth, the two walls press flat against each other as soon as the pump starts and seal off the air path. The machine draws for a second, achieves nothing, and stops.
Embossed channel film has a textured inner surface that keeps micro-channels open along the length of the bag, so air can keep travelling to the pump until the pack is drawn down.
A chamber sealer works differently — it evacuates the whole chamber, so pressure is equal inside and outside the bag and smooth film is fine.
Tell us which machine you use and we will specify the right film.
They contain it well, provided the barrier is real and the seals are sound.
Two things do the work. First, removing the air removes most of the volatile compounds that would otherwise be pushed out when the bag is squeezed. Second — and more importantly — the film has to be a genuine multi-layer barrier structure. Foil is the most effective.
What does not work is a thick single-layer plastic bag. Odour molecules pass through cheap film regardless of how good the seals are, and thickness alone does not fix it. If a supplier is selling "smell proof" on gauge rather than structure, that is the wrong bag.
Seal integrity matters as much as material. A perfect barrier film with a contaminated seal leaks, so keep product out of the seal area when filling.
It compresses it, and whether that matters depends on what you are selling.
Vacuum removes the air from between and within the buds, so the flower physically compacts. Trichomes can be damaged where buds press against each other under pressure, and the structure of the bud flattens. For premium flower sold on appearance, that is a real cost and most producers avoid full vacuum for that reason.
For bulk storage, transport and processing material it is much less of a concern, and the benefits — oxygen removal, volume reduction, odour control — clearly outweigh it.
If you want the oxygen protection without the compression, the alternative is a foil barrier bag with a nitrogen flush or an oxygen absorber rather than a drawn vacuum. Tell us the product and we will point you to the right one.
