Ziplock Paper Bags with Window
A window at the fill line, because one placed above it only advertises headspace.
Granola, coffee and dried goods sell on visible product. Placement matters more than size: a window that shows empty space makes a full pack look half sold.

Every detail. Intentional.
Window set at the fill height
Or side strips that stay full-looking.
Headspace kills the shelf
A half-empty look costs sales.
Film matched to the barrier
A porous window in a barrier bag is a chimney.
Anti-fog for chilled goods
Where condensation would mist the view.
Cellulose for compostable
Keeping the window inside the claim.
The product is the photo
The bag is only the caption.

Built like architecture.

Sizing & dieline.
Every Ziplock Paper Bags with Window is made to your fill, not pulled off a shelf. A pouch is quoted width × length. Tell us what goes inside and how much of it, and we return a measured spec, free, before you commit to anything.
A pouch is sized by what goes in it, not by outside dimensions. Give us the fill weight and, if you can, the bulk, since 500 g of granola needs far more bag than 500 g of powder.
We quote width × length. Flat pouches need no gusset figure, because the bag lies flat when empty.
Zipper or heat seal only, valve or no valve, window or full barrier. These change the film and the bag height, so they belong in the spec rather than added afterwards.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Ziplock Paper Bags with Window per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Ziplock Paper Bags with Window.
At or slightly below the fill line, so the window always shows product and never empty space. Contents settle in transit, and a window placed above the settled level shows air at the top of the pack. On a shelf that looks like a half-empty bag.
If fill heights vary between flavours or weights, a vertical side strip is the safer layout, because part of it always shows product.
It can if the film isn't matched to the liner, so we always specify them together. An unmatched window in a barrier bag lets moisture and air through the opening and undoes the liner's work. On standard builds we use clear PET with a barrier level chosen to suit the liner behind the kraft.
Anti-fog film is the choice for chilled or moist fills where condensation would mist the view, and cellulose film keeps a compostable build compostable.
Yes, windows are die-cut, so ovals, arches and letterforms from your logo are all possible. The shape is cut through the paper face before the film goes on behind it. Very tight curves and thin strokes are the practical limit, since the paper around them needs enough width to stay flat.
We check every shape on the dieline and send a proof before cutting.
Treat the product behind the window as the main image and design the print as a frame around it. A busy pattern running right up to the opening fights with what shows through. Windowed kraft bags usually keep the face to a matte kraft ground with the brand, the product name and a simple border.
Leave a margin of lightly printed paper around the cut. Print-to-cut registration moves slightly on every run, and that margin hides it.
Yes, with the right build, and a small window makes that much easier than a large one. Paper-stream recycling depends on the share of the bag that is paper, and every square inch of film and liner lowers it. High-paper builds with a modest window can still qualify.
For a compostable pack, we pair a cellulose window with a certified compostable liner and zipper, and the mark printed on the bag states which claim applies.
We make these most often at 5 x 3 x 8 inches and 6 x 3.5 x 10 inches, width by gusset by height. To place the window, we need the fill weight and roughly how high the product sits once the bag is standing and settled. That settled height fixes where the window goes.
Custom sizes follow the same method. The tear notch and press-zip sit above the window, as on our plain zip bags.
We take orders from 500 windowed bags. The same minimum covers shaped windows, since the cutting die is made once and reused on every reorder. Runs can go up to 100,000.
Tell us how many flavours or variants you plan to launch and we'll quote the run around them.
Once the proof is approved, production takes 7 to 10 business days. If the launch date is close, a rush slot brings that down to 5 to 7 business days. Because window placement depends on how your product settles, we'd suggest a sample first, which takes 5 to 7 business days, and its fee is credited back on the production order.
