Burger Boxes
A clamshell that vents while it holds heat — the balance every hot-food box negotiates.
Hot fillings release steam that softens a bun inside a sealed container. Vent ports positioned high bleed it off while the board's coating handles grease from below.

Every detail. Intentional.
Vent high, where steam gathers
Which is what keeps a bun intact.
Grease-coated interior
Butter and fat mark bare board fast.
One-piece hinge
No separate lid to align or lose.
Front tab holds it closed
Through a delivery bag's handling.
Flat tops for delivery bags
Square footprints for delivery.
Every surface is food-safe
Board, coating and inks alike.
Built like architecture.
Each Burger Boxes is an engineered object — measured, dieline-cut, and hand-wrapped to spec. Below: the standard build sheet.

Sizing & dieline.
Every Burger Boxes is cut to a dieline built around your product — not pulled off a shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points — not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product — we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
Burger Boxes is priced per specification rather than from a fixed list — the same box in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Everything you need to know about Burger Boxes.
Measure your actual burger, assembled, at its tallest point — and do it with the build your kitchen sends out on a busy night, not a carefully constructed photo build.
As rough starting points: a single smash burger runs around 70 mm tall, a standard quarter-pounder build around 90–100 mm, and a double stack with cheese and toppings 130 mm or more.
Snug is better than generous. Extra headroom does not protect the burger, it gives it room to tip over during the walk to a car. But do not go under either — a lid pressing down on the bun arrives looking squashed, and customers read that as a kitchen problem.
Send us the height, width and how you plate it, and we will size the box and return a dieline free with the quote.
If the burger is hot when it goes in, yes — and it is the cheapest improvement you can make to this format.
A hot patty and a warm toasted bun release water vapour. Inside a closed clamshell that vapour has nowhere to go, so it condenses on the underside of the lid and drips back down onto the top of the bun. Ten minutes is enough to turn a toasted brioche soft and shiny.
Small perforations in the lid or the upper side wall let the vapour out. Sized properly they release steam without meaningfully cooling the burger.
The exception is cold or ambient service — venting a chilled item just dries it out.
It is a real trade-off rather than an obvious yes.
For a combo box: one container per order is faster to pack, easier for the customer to carry, and cheaper than two pieces. Divided inserts keep the fries from sitting against the burger.
Against: fries need to vent aggressively or they go limp, while a burger wants to stay warm and reasonably enclosed. Those are opposing requirements in one box. Fries also carry far more free oil, which pushes the grease barrier specification up for the whole container.
Most operators who care about fry quality box them separately. If you want the combo, we would specify heavier venting on the fry side and a stronger grease barrier throughout.
