Sizing & dieline.
We cut Personalized Coffee Cup Sleeves to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Personalized Coffee Cup Sleeves per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Everything you need to know about Personalized Coffee Cup Sleeves.
The board is the same E-flute band and only the print method changes. A conventional sleeve run needs flexo plates, so the setup cost has to be spread over a large quantity. Digital print skips the plates entirely, which is what makes a run of 500 sleeves affordable for an independent shop.
The trade-off is cost per unit at volume. Once you need a few thousand identical sleeves, conventional print gets cheaper and we will say so on the quote.
Yes, variable data lets each sleeve in the run print with different content. Guest names for a wedding, table numbers for an event or a unique QR code per sleeve all come from a single data file merged into the artwork. Nothing is reprinted or re-set between units.
The file needs to be clean. Names with typos print exactly as supplied, so we send a proof of the merged data before the run goes on press.
White liner gives the brightest digital reproduction, and kraft suits bold single-colour marks. Toner and inkjet sit on a bleached surface without the brown tint shifting the colours, so photographic artwork and pastel palettes belong on white. Natural kraft absorbs fine detail and shows the fibre through pale inks.
For rustic weddings and outdoor events the kraft look is often the point, and a dark logo with a name in a heavy weight reads well on it.
Foil detail is available on these sleeves, typically as a small metallic accent. A monogram, a date or a thin rule in gold or silver over a digital print is the usual request for weddings and premium gifting. The foil is applied after the digital pass, so it adds a step to the schedule.
Exact Pantone spot matching is the one thing digital does not do as well as plate printing. Brand colours land close, and we flag anything that will drift on the proof.
The standard band is 2.25 inches tall and fits hot cups from 10 to 20 ounces. The sleeve is tapered to match the cup wall, so one size slides onto a 12-ounce cup and a 16-ounce cup without slipping down. Tell us the cup you use and we check the taper against it.
If your cups sit outside that range, the die can be adjusted. A heavier flute is an option where drinks are served very hot at an outdoor event.
Orders start at 500 sleeves, which digital printing keeps affordable. That 500 can be split across several designs within the same order, so an event with four drink stations does not need four separate runs. Lower quantities can sometimes be arranged on enquiry.
Orders scale to 100,000 units, though at that end a plate-printed sleeve usually costs less per piece.
Standard production runs 7 to 10 business days, and a rush service brings that down to 5 to 7. Digital print has no plate-making stage, so the schedule is mostly board, cutting and packing rather than press setup. Send the data file and artwork together to avoid a proofing delay.
A printed sample takes 5 to 7 business days, and the fee comes off the production invoice when the order goes ahead.
The E-flute band is plain corrugated fibre and goes in kerbside paper recycling. Digital toner and inkjet are low-coverage on a sleeve and do not stop the board being repulped. A foil accent is a small area and does not change how the sleeve is disposed of.
Kraft liner is unbleached and carries recycled content where the specification allows. The sleeve gives the same insulation and grip as a conventionally printed one.
