Business Cards
The smallest print job with the highest scrutiny — every edge is inspected.
A card is handled at close range and judged in seconds. Stock thickness, edge finish and print crispness are the entire product.

Every detail. Intentional.
Inspected at close range
Every flaw is visible.
Caliper is the first signal
350gsm is the working floor.
Edge painting on premium
Colour on the cut face.
Soft-touch over gloss
How the category has moved.
Spot UV and foil layer well
Contrast against matte.
Small canvas, long memory
Which justifies the finish.
Built like architecture.
Each Custom Business Cards is an engineered object — measured, dieline-cut, and hand-wrapped to spec. Below: the standard build sheet.

Sizing & dieline.
Every Custom Business Cards is wound and cut to your product — not pulled off a shelf. Send us the diameter and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured spec, free, before you commit to anything.
A cylinder needs two figures, not three: the diameter across its widest point, and the height. Measure the item itself, not the pack you happen to use today.
Allow 2–3 mm on the diameter so the product drops in without binding, and a few millimetres of headroom if a lid, pillow or tissue sits on top.
We quote round formats as Diameter × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product — we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
Custom Business Cards is priced per specification rather than from a fixed list — the same box in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

What brands say.
“The best packaging partner we've ever worked with. Every box feels like an event.”
“Our unboxing experience went from forgettable to remarkable. The magnetic close is chef's kiss.”
“Fast turnaround, flawless quality, and the design support is genuinely exceptional.”
Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Custom Business Cards.
350gsm is the commercial standard and it feels substantial. 400gsm is where most premium cards sit — the difference is noticeable in the hand, and it is a small cost increase on a small overall spend.
Below about 300gsm a card feels flimsy, and that registers before anyone reads the design. It is one of the least effective places to save money on print.
Above 400gsm you move into duplexed construction — two sheets bonded together, often with a contrasting coloured core visible at the edge. These are genuinely thick and unmistakably deliberate.
One practical consideration: if people write on your cards — appointment times, notes — specify an uncoated stock. Laminated and silk surfaces resist pen ink, which is frustrating for a card meant to be written on.
