Car Stickers Header Cards.

A loose decal has no face to merchandise and nowhere to put a barcode, so it cannot hang on a retail peg. The header card gives it both, plus room for a photo showing the decal on a real vehicle.

That application photo usually sells more at arm's length than the decal does on its own. The decal is printed separately and attached to the card.

We print header cards on 300gsm or heavier stock. Thinner board curls forward on the peg and makes the whole display look tired.

A gloss laminate on the card helps it survive shoppers pulling it off and hanging it back, and a reinforced euro slot stops the hole tearing out under that handling.

The decal can be stapled on, held with a glue dot, or captured in a clear poly bag behind the card. Bagged and carded is the most common choice, since it keeps the decal clean and visible while shoppers handle it.

Multi-piece cut designs go on transfer tape first so they come off the backing in one piece. We can include printed application instructions in the bag as well.

Cast vinyl is the grade for vehicles, because it conforms to curves and holds up on paint for years. Car decals go on paint, glass and plastic trim, and they face car washes and constant UV, so we specify up for this job.

A UV laminate over the print protects colour against fading in the sun. Cheaper calendered films tend to shrink back on curves, which is the usual cause of lifted edges.

Lead with a photograph of the decal applied to a car, then answer the questions a buyer has before they commit. Those are the decal material, how long it lasts, whether it comes off cleanly and how hard it is to apply.

An honest spec panel on the back covers them. Because the buyer is putting it on their own car permanently, reassurance does more selling than extra graphics.

Most header cards run from 4 × 6 in to 6 × 9 in, with the decal bagged behind. We size the card around the decal and leave enough head space above it for the euro slot and your branding.

If you sell several decal sizes, one or two card sizes usually cover the range, which keeps the peg wall tidy.

The run starts at 500 cards. Decals and cards are produced separately and then assembled, so the card design can stay fixed while the decal inside changes.

That lets you carry several decal designs on one printed card, as long as the card artwork itself stays the same across them.
