We make two formats: a child-resistant pouch that reseals, and a CR jar packed in a printed carton. The pouch is the lighter, flatter option and ships economically, while the jar and carton give a rigid pack that stands upright on a counter.

Both use opaque barrier material so the sweets aren't visible from outside, and both can take a tamper-evident seal at first opening.

Gummies dry out and stiffen when air gets in, and hard candy turns tacky when it picks up moisture. An opaque barrier film controls both, so the texture holds for the life of the pack.

For hard candy we can add a desiccant sachet inside the pouch or jar. The film also hides the contents, which keeps the shelf read on your artwork instead of on the sweets.

They do, and that is the point of specifying a CR zipper over a plain one for multi-serve candy. The closure has to lock again every time the pouch is closed, because a pack like this gets opened across several days.

The CR pouches we supply are certified to 16 CFR 1700.20. Your jurisdiction decides if child resistance is required, and we build to the spec your compliance team hands us.

Soft-touch matte, hot foil and spot UV on a muted palette give the carton an adult confectionery look. We print CMYK plus Pantone, which lets you hold brand colours exactly across pouch and carton.

We'd steer clear of cartoon styling and bright primaries, since candy packaging for grown-ups reads better when it sits away from children's conventions. Embossing on the logo adds a premium touch without another ink.

A pouch box around 4 × 3 × 1 in and a jar carton around 3 × 3 × 4 in cover most candy lines. We size to your actual pouch or jar, measuring the inside length, width and depth of the carton.

Send us the filled pouch or a sample jar with its closure fitted, and we'll set the dieline with enough clearance for the cap and any insert.

A 500-piece first order lets you check the CR closure, the panel layout and the finish on a real shelf before you commit to a bigger print. Design and dieline help is included at no charge.

Plan on 7 to 10 business days for the production run after proof approval. A rush option brings that down to 5 to 7 business days, and physical samples take 5 to 7 business days as well.

We credit the sample fee against the production order, so a sample round doesn't add to the total once you place the bulk order. That makes it easy to test the pouch zipper and carton fit first.

The outer carton can be, on SBS paperboard or kraft board from our recyclable eco range. The barrier pouch or CR jar inside is a separate component and goes into a different stream.

If recyclability matters to your buyers, we'd go lighter on film lamination for the carton and pick a coated finish, so the board goes back into paper recycling more easily.
