Sizing & dieline.
We cut CBD Subscription Boxes to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price CBD Subscription Boxes per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about CBD Subscription Boxes.
Yes, and most monthly wellness boxes are built exactly that way, with plain kraft outside and full print on the interior. The doorstep sees a neutral mailer with perhaps a small logo, and the subscriber lifts the lid onto flood-printed walls. Since only the subscriber sees the inside, that's where we'd spend the print budget.
Some brands let subscribers pick a branded exterior at checkout. That means two versions of the box, and we'd quote both.
A die-cut insert gives each item its own pocket, so a glass bottle never knocks against a tin or a gummy pouch. The dropper bottle gets a snug round cavity, flatter items sit in shallow wells beside it, and the product card lies on top. Nothing should move when you shake the closed box.
If the lineup changes monthly, we plan cavities around the shapes you're likely to ship and refresh only the printed card.
E-flute corrugated is the standard here, thin enough to print well and stiff enough to ship without an outer carton. B-flute or a double-wall build earns its cost when the box carries several glass bottles or travels a long way. Choose a kraft liner for the discreet look or a white coated liner for bright interior colour.
A water-resistant coating helps boxes that sit on a wet porch for an afternoon.
A self-locking mailer tucks shut again after opening, so a subscriber can store products in it or send an item back. If you add a tear strip for the first opening, the lid still folds closed afterwards, though it no longer shows as sealed. We position the strip so tearing it doesn't weaken the locking tabs.
For a return, the same box can go back with a fresh shipping label on top.
Keep the box structure and exterior fixed, and change the printed interior or the insert card by season. A new structure needs a new die and fresh sampling, while a new card only needs new artwork. Tissue and stickers shift the feel of a month for very little outlay.
Premium tiers work the same way. We'd keep one footprint for every tier and give the upper level lamination, full interior print and tissue, so fulfilment still packs a single size.
Size the box to your fullest likely month, then let the insert take up space in the lighter ones. Common builds are 9 × 6 × 3 in and 10 × 8 × 3.5 in, both measured inside. Send us the tallest bottle and the widest item you expect to ship and we'll draw the cavity plan around them.
One size across the year keeps your packing bench and your carrier rates predictable.
Our starting quantity is 500 boxes per design. Monthly volumes add up quickly, so many programmes order the mailer in one larger run and print the monthly cards separately. Cards cost far less to change than a printed box, and that split keeps your artwork flexible without reordering the whole structure.
Plan on 7 to 10 business days of production, or 5 to 7 if you book a rush slot. For a recurring programme we'd order with a month of buffer, so a late artwork change never holds up a ship date. Pre-production samples need 5 to 7 business days, with the fee credited to the bulk order.
Our designers set up the dieline and interior layout at no charge.
