A certified push-and-turn closure fitted to a wound fibre body. The cap only releases when it is pressed down and turned at the same time, an action that the test protocol confirms most young children cannot complete.

The body is a standard spiral-wound tube. The child resistance comes from the closure and from how tightly that closure is matched to the tube's inner diameter.

For the tube and closure together, tested as one pack to the 16 CFR 1700.20 protocol. A cap that passes on one tube diameter does not automatically pass on another.

This is why we do not swap closures between sizes without retesting. When you change the diameter, the certification has to follow the new combination.

Yes. The push-and-turn closure locks again every time it is replaced. The tube stays child-resistant through repeated opening for the life of the pack.

The base is sealed or fixed, so the only way in is through the certified cap. That matters for products that are used over days rather than once.

Common builds are 0.9 by 4.5 inches for a single pre-roll and 1.5 by 4 inches for a multi-pack or a small vessel. Other diameters are available, each with its own tested closure.

Because the closure has to match the diameter, we hold a range of certified sizes rather than winding a new one on request. Ask for the current list before you design the wrap.

Yes. The wrap is a continuous printed sheet around the full body, so the required warning marks fit alongside the brand artwork. On a narrow pre-roll tube the panel is small, so we lay the artwork out around the marks first.

Send us the symbols and minimum sizes your state requires and we build the wrap template with those areas reserved.

Not entirely. The certified closure carries the locking mechanism and is the one component that stays plastic. The body, wrap and base are fibre, so the pack is mostly paper by weight.

The defensible claim is reduced plastic rather than plastic-free. We will say so on the spec so the wording on your wrap matches what the pack actually is.

300 units in one certified size and one print design. The tested closure is a stocked component, so the minimum is the same as a standard tube.

For a first run we recommend ordering a physical sample of the exact size, so you can check the push-and-turn action and the fit of your product before the full quantity.

7 to 10 business days after artwork approval, or 5 to 7 on rush. A pre-production sample takes 5 to 7 business days and is strongly recommended on this format.

The sample is where you confirm the closure action, the fit of the contents and the placement of the warning marks. The sample fee is credited against the order.
