Weight in the hand, a lid that lifts slowly, and a surface that is a real paper rather than a printed coating. Those three things are what the customer registers before they read a word.

We build to that with a heavy wound or rigid wall, a lid fit set on the sample, and a wrap in art paper or a specialty stock with foil and emboss. Each one is a specification, not a finish added at the end.

By setting the tolerance between the lid and the body so the air has to work its way in as the lid rises. Too tight and the lid sticks. Too loose and it pops.

We set that fit on the sample rather than from a table, because wrap thickness, lamination and humidity all change it. The result is the slow, cushioned open that spirits and fragrance brands specify.

Velvet or satin over a fitted card former for fragrance and jewellery, and fitted foam for a heavy glass bottle. The lining holds the product centred and adds a second reveal when the lid comes off.

Colour is matched to any Pantone. A black or deep interior against a foil-wrapped exterior is the most common brief in this tier.

Yes, on a rigid-wall build with a hinged or drop-on lid, where a magnet can sit in the wall. A telescoping lid does not need one because the fit does the work.

Magnets add a positive click on close, which suits gifting. If you want the slow lift instead, the telescoping fit is the better specification and costs less.

Gold, silver, rose gold, copper and holographic foil, with blind or foil embossing on the lid face. The lid face is flat, so relief work is deepest and crispest there.

On the curved body we keep embossing shallow and let the foil carry the detail. Soft-touch lamination under the foil gives the velvet hand-feel most premium briefs ask for.

Similar. A heavy-wall tube and a rigid box of the same volume weigh about the same and both ship assembled. The tube has a smaller footprint, so more fit in a carton.

Freight is quoted with the order. Common sizes are 3 by 9 inches and 3.5 by 12 inches, which cover most single-bottle spirits and fragrance sets.

Foil, emboss and lining are all quoted as separate lines, so you can see what each one adds and shape the spec before you commit.

7 to 10 business days after artwork approval, 5 to 7 on rush, and 5 to 7 business days for a sample. On this tier we treat the sample as part of the build, not an option.

The sample is where the lid fit, the foil placement and the lining colour are signed off. The sample fee is credited against the production order.
