Down to about an inch across. The common builds are 1.2 by 3 inches and 1.5 by 4 inches. Below an inch the wound wall gets thin relative to the diameter, and the cap fit becomes hard to hold.

Because the same tolerance is a much bigger share of a small diameter. A fit that is fine on a 3 inch tube can be loose or tight on a 1.2 inch one.

We set the fit on the sample, not from a chart. It is the one specification on a small tube that has to be checked in the hand.

Less than you expect. The tight curve means only a narrow strip faces the reader at once. Plan for a name, a variant and one line of detail, not a paragraph.

We lay the wrap out for the curvature and keep type at a size that stays legible across it. Hierarchy matters more than decoration at this scale.

Yes. Small tubes suit discovery sets, advent formats and gift bundles, and we build the outer pack to hold them. A card tray or a rigid box with die-cut wells keeps each tube upright.

Tin-plate caps add weight that is very noticeable on a small tube, which reads as quality. Paperboard caps keep it light and all-fibre. Both are specified per end.

For a sample or a mini that ships in an outer pack, paperboard is usually enough. For a jewellery tube sold on its own, metal caps earn their place.

Soft-touch lamination and foil. Both are pronounced on an item held in the fingers. Spot UV works but should be used sparingly, because small areas read as texture rather than pattern.

A matte wrap with a foil mark is the build most brands choose at this size.

300 units per diameter and height. Because the tube is small, the print sheet carries many wraps at once, so the unit price falls quickly above the minimum.

Sets are quoted per tube plus the outer pack, so a 12-tube advent set of 300 is 3,600 tubes.

7 to 10 business days after approval, 5 to 7 on rush, and 5 to 7 business days for a sample. On a small tube the sample is where the cap fit is set, so we do not recommend skipping it.

Delivery is USA-wide and priced with the order. Small tubes pack densely, so freight is a minor part of the cost.
