Heavy branding reads as marketing, and a client gift that reads as marketing stops being a gift. The corporate convention is a blind deboss or a small foil mark that says who it is from without advertising. The message goes on an insert card or inside the lid, never printed across the lid.

We will not cover the box in logo repeats for this format.

Rigid greyboard construction, a fitted insert and a considered finish carry the judgement more than the contents do. Many recipients have gift acceptance limits, so perceived quality has to come from presentation and not from spend. Uncoated wrap and soft-touch both register as quality on first contact.

The kit is specified around presentation, with no attempt to maximise what is inside.

Yes, an unbranded shipper outer keeps the gift a surprise on opening and protects the presentation box in the post. Client kits are almost always posted, often to home addresses, so the rigid box never travels exposed. The outer takes the scuffs and corner knocks a parcel network hands out.

Matt lamination with a debossed mark is the most appropriate combination for this format. A small foil detail, a mark rather than a full logo lockup, adds restrained metallic. Soft-touch lamination gives quality by feel with no visual branding at all.

The inside-lid message should read as a personal note and not as a marketing line.

10 by 8 by 3 inches and 12 by 9 by 4 inches are the sizes ordered most. Internal dimensions come first, set by the contents and the insert around them. A smaller box with a well-fitted tray looks more considered than a large one with loose items.

Client gift kits are produced from 500 boxes. Rates improve in tiers above 1,000, and a reusable design lets the same box serve repeat annual programmes with only the insert card changing. Runs go up to 100,000 on one specification.

Client gift boxes take 7 to 10 business days to produce, and 5 to 7 business days when rushed. A sample box takes 5 to 7 business days to make up and the sample fee is deducted from the production invoice. Design help, including the insert drawing, is free.

Allow extra time if fragile contents need a moulded pulp insert tooled.

A moulded pulp insert provides shock absorption where the kit holds bottles or glass. The fitted insert keeps the arrangement in place so it arrives as designed, and the shipper outer takes external impacts. Between the three, a posted kit arrives looking as it did on the packing bench.
