A fitted insert holds the bulb by its base and neck so it can't move against the carton walls. Movement is what breaks bulbs, because the glass envelope and the driver in the base both take damage when the bulb knocks around in a loose box.

Multi-packs get dividers so bulbs never touch each other. For bulbs sold online and shipped singly, we move the outer to E-flute corrugated for impact resistance.

The front should carry a drawing of the base fitting with its code, a warm-to-cool colour temperature scale, and brightness in both lumens and watt equivalent. Those cover the most common reasons bulbs come back: the wrong base, an unexpected colour and brightness confusion.

People recognise a base shape faster than they read E26 or GU10, and a bare 2700K means little to most shoppers. Showing 800 lumens beside the familiar 60W figure takes the guesswork out.

Yes, a clear window film panel shows the bulb shape and filament, which is often why someone picks a decorative bulb. We keep the window clear of the specification area so the fitting diagram and brightness figures still sit on printed board.

The fitted insert stays in place behind the window, so the bulb is held still and displayed at the same angle in every box on the shelf.

Full CMYK on a bright folding boxboard is the standard, because the spec display needs sharp small type and accurate colour on the temperature scale. Gloss and matte both work, and kraft suits a vintage or eco range.

A single A19 bulb usually fits a box about 2.5 by 2.5 by 5 inches inside. A multi-pack of the same bulb, laid in a row with dividers, comes out around 8 by 3 by 5 inches.

Candle, globe and reflector shapes each need their own sizes, so we measure the bulb's widest diameter and overall height and build the insert to those. A tight fit matters more here than on most products, since any slack lets the glass move.

Custom bulb cartons have a 500-unit minimum. Pricing is tiered from 1,000 upward, so a larger run brings the unit cost down, and we can run as many as 100,000.

Lighting brands with several wattages and colour temperatures often keep one dieline and change only the printed spec block, which keeps each variant's order manageable.

Samples take 5 to 7 business days, and the production run takes 7 to 10 business days after you approve one. A rush run shortens production to 5 to 7 business days.

Test the sample with the actual bulb in it, shaken and dropped, because insert fit is where bulb packaging fails. The sample fee is credited to your production order.

They will if the board is chosen for compression, because bulb cartons sit several deep and the bottom box carries the rest. A crushed carton on a lower row usually means a broken bulb inside it.

We pick the boxboard caliper for the stack height and pack weight, and the fitted insert adds some column strength of its own. If you know the shelf depth, tell us and we'll check the stack load on the sample.
