Sizing & dieline.
We cut Luxury Perfume Packaging to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Luxury Perfume Packaging per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Everything you need to know about Luxury Perfume Packaging.
A sculpted seat is an interior carved to the exact negative shape of the flacon, so the bottle drops in and is held on every side. It replaces a generic slot and turns the inside of the box into a display.
We line these seats in silk, flock or foam, or form them in moulded pulp, depending on the finish of the bottle. A lacquered or metallised flacon needs a soft lining so it is not marked when lifted out.
Both work, and the choice comes down to house style rather than performance. A concealed magnetic flap closes with a clean, definite snap and suits architectural, modern houses. A ribbon pull or tie reads softer and more traditional, and it adds a slower step to the opening.
Either way the closure sits on wrapped rigid board, which is heavy enough to feel the part and sturdy enough to be kept for years.
Yes, mechanical reveals such as double doors, pull-out drawers and platforms that lift the flacon as the lid opens can all be built in rigid board. Houses tend to save them for launch and limited editions.
Each mechanism needs its own engineering sample, since the pull tension and the timing of the reveal have to be tested by hand. Allow an extra sample round compared with a standard two-piece box.
Two or three finishes working together, usually foil over soft-touch with a blind emboss, give more impact than stacking every option available. Pearlescent papers and lacquer surfaces add depth on their own and need less help.
For numbered editions we can print or foil the edition number and stage a certificate card inside the lid. Keeping the house codes consistent to the millimetre matters more at this tier than any single effect.
There is no stock size at this tier, because every coffret is specified around the house's own flacon. We work from the bottle itself or a 3D file, including the cap, and build the seat and the outer box outward from there.
Remember to allow for the lining thickness and any mechanism, which can add noticeably to the outside dimensions. Our structural drawings and dielines are provided free.
Coffret orders start at 500 units. That suits a house launching a new fragrance or a numbered edition, and repeat runs can climb to 100,000.
For a numbered edition, set the edition size with that minimum in mind so the certificate cards and the numbering print in one unbroken sequence.
The sample stage takes 5 to 7 business days, and the coffret run itself needs 7 to 10 business days after approval. A rush run can cut production to 5 to 7 business days.
At this level we treat the sample as a required step. Wrap colour, lining fit and foil registration all need checking in the hand, and the sample fee counts toward the production order.
They travel inside a suspension shipper, an outer that holds the finished coffret away from the carton walls so knocks are absorbed before they reach the wrapped surfaces. Wrapped rigid board scuffs and dents at the corners long before the flacon is at risk.
We size the shipper to the coffret and specify the two together, so the counter display arrives in the condition it left the factory.
