Mouse Packaging Boxes is priced per specification rather than from a fixed list — the same box in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Because a mouse has compound curves and no flat face to seat against.
Die-cut board inserts work by holding a product at flat edges and faces. A mouse has neither — every surface curves in more than one direction. Put one in a rectangular cavity and it rocks, and every knock in transit rolls it against the box walls.
That matters because mouse shells are usually a soft-touch or matte plastic that scuffs readily, and the very first thing a customer does with a mouse is pick it up and look at it. A mark on the shell is noticed within seconds and returned.
A moulded pulp cradle is formed to the underside of the specific shell. It holds the mouse in one position and spreads contact over a broad area rather than a few hard points.
It costs more than flat board, and it is model-specific — a cradle formed for one shell will not properly hold another. For a product judged on how it looks and feels, it is usually worth it.
