This is the real challenge in the category, and it is a printing economics problem rather than a structural one.

Conventional litho and flexo printing engrave plates per design. That is efficient over long runs and ruinous over short ones — and a case range typically has hundreds of SKUs with very low volume on most of them.

Two approaches work:

Digital printing. No plates, so no per-design setup cost. Each model can have fully custom artwork, and a run of fifty is viable. Costs more per unit, so it suits lower-volume SKUs and new launches.

A common box with a variable element. One printed design across the entire range, with the model name applied as a label, a printed band, or a digitally printed panel. Usually the cheapest option at scale, and what most established brands settle on.

Many brands run both — common box for the core range, digital for long-tail and newly launched models. Send us your SKU list and expected volumes and we will model the two against each other.
