Sizing & dieline.
We cut Smartwatch Packaging Boxes to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Smartwatch Packaging Boxes per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Smartwatch Packaging Boxes.
Either fastened around a curved cradle so the watch sits as if worn, or laid in a formed strap channel around the body. The cradle is the stronger presentation and the one premium ranges use. The channel costs less and still keeps the strap from coiling loose in a corner. Both are cut so the buckle never rests against the case.
Flat loose cavities are the one thing we will not build for a watch.
A recessed seat in the insert holds the face clear of everything, with a protective film as the second layer. The screen is the fragile element and it marks against board or against its own buckle if the watch can move. The recess is cut deeper than the glass so nothing touches it even when the box is turned over.
We do not seat a screen directly on board, even with film on it.
A bay for the charging puck with its cable routed, and room for the paperwork. Premium ranges use a layered reveal tray, so the watch shows first and the charger sits in a second tier underneath. The lid-and-base rigid construction gives the weight the category expects at this price point.
Wireless certification marks have to appear on the pack, so the base panel carries a defined space for them.
Soft-touch lamination is the most requested, since it is the finish shoppers associate with premium wearables. Matte lamination is the alternative base, and it does not show fingerprints. On top of either go foil detail for the logo and an emboss or deboss so the brand mark is felt before the lid lifts.
Inside print is part of the reveal, and variant coding for case size and strap type is made prominent so the range reads at a glance.
Common sizes are 4 by 4 by 3 inches and 4.5 by 4.5 by 3.5 inches, depending on the charger and tray count. The footprint comes from the cradle diameter plus the strap loop, and the height from how many layers the reveal has. Send the case size, strap length and puck dimensions and we size the tiers from there.
The floor is 500 boxes for one size and finish. Rigid board is built up by hand, so tiers above 1,000 make a noticeable difference to the unit cost, and the ceiling on a run is 100,000. Cradle inserts are included in that quantity rather than quoted as a separate minimum.
Standard lead time on rigid wearable packaging is 7 to 10 business days from the approved proof. On a rush, the rigid boxes are finished in 5 to 7 business days. A sample takes 5 to 7 business days and is the point to check the cradle against your watch and the screen clearance in the recess.
The sample charge is deducted from the production order, and we draw the dieline without charging for it.
Yes, and most retail versions carry them because the product is high-value and easy to conceal. Tamper-evident seals over the lid join, a printed sleeve that must be broken, or a tag cavity in the base are the usual options. The security element is planned into the structure so it does not interrupt the reveal sequence the box is built around.
