A paperboard collar that grips the bottle's shoulder is the standard insert for 15ml to 60ml tinctures. Without it the bottle knocks against the carton in transit, and that movement can work the cap loose. The collar folds from the same board as the carton, so it adds little weight and recycles along with it.

Yes, measure the bottle with the CR cap and pipette fitted, never from the stated fill volume. A child-resistant dropper is taller and wider than a standard bulb, and a box drawn to the bare bottle won't close over it. We add a small allowance above the assembled height so the tuck lies flat.

It depends where you sell, since the two styles read very differently on a shelf. The clinical style is white 18pt SBS, sans-serif type and plenty of space around the strength figure. The apothecary style uses uncoated kraft, serif type and botanical illustration, often with a deboss.

We'd lean clinical for a pharmacy shelf and apothecary for a farm shop or a market stall.

Amber glass filters much of the light, and a printed carton blocks the rest. Keeping the bottle boxed until it's in use gives the fullest protection. A window would undo that, so we keep tincture cartons closed on all six sides and let the print carry the imagery.

A 30ml dropper bottle usually goes in a carton around 1.6 × 1.6 × 4.3 in, and a 15ml in about 1.3 × 1.3 × 3.7 in. Treat those as starting points. Bottle shoulders, cap styles and collar inserts all change the final numbers, so we confirm every size against the bottle you'll fill.
