Sizing & dieline.
Every Custom Printed Cup Sleeves is cut to a dieline built around your product — not pulled off a shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points — not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product — we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
Custom Printed Cup Sleeves is priced per specification rather than from a fixed list — the same box in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

“Fast turnaround, flawless quality, and the design support is genuinely exceptional.”
Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Custom Printed Cup Sleeves.
Not really, once you count honestly.
A sleeve on its own is cheap. But the fair comparison is single wall cup plus sleeve against double wall cup, and those usually land at roughly the same cost per drink. You also carry two SKUs instead of one, and someone has to fit the sleeve on every cup — a couple of seconds that adds up in a morning rush.
The genuine advantages of sleeves are elsewhere:
- Artwork flexibility. Run four seasonal designs a year over one plain cup rather than printing and storing four cup variants.
- Sunk cup stock. If you already hold plain cups, sleeves brand them without writing that inventory off.
- Lower minimums per design, which suits collaborations and one-off events.
If you want one cup, one design, and the fastest service, a double wall cup is the better answer.
Very likely, but send us a cup or the exact specification rather than just the ounce size.
Paper cups are conical, and the important measurements are the rim diameter, base diameter and height — the taper. Two 12 oz cups from different suppliers can have noticeably different profiles, and a sleeve cut for one will ride up or slide down on the other.
Fit is the main failure point for this product. Too loose and the sleeve slips off, especially once the cup gets damp. Too tight and staff struggle with it during service, which is worse than no sleeve at all.
Most menus are covered by two sleeve sizes — one for 8 oz and one for 12/16 oz, since those two often share a body taper.
