Disposable Paper Cutlery.

It is pressed from several plies of food-grade paper, laminated and compressed under heat into a dense, board-like piece. Nothing here is cut from a single sheet. Lamination density and the moisture treatment between plies are what separate a fork that lasts a meal from one that folds at the first bite.

Thickness carries the rigidity, and we test every spec with real hot food before it ships.

Moisture works its way between the plies, the laminate loses its stiffness and the tine or bowl folds under load. The fix is a moisture-resistant treatment that slows water getting into the layers, combined with enough thickness to carry the load in the first place.

Paper cutlery still has a limit. It is not built for long immersion in hot liquid, so a spoon left sitting in soup will soften sooner than one used and set down.

No, laminated paper is for moderate force: bowls, salads, rice dishes and most mains. Where the knife has to do real cutting we would move you to birch wood, which is stiffer, or to CPLA, a crystallised plant-based resin that comes closest to plastic in stiffness and heat tolerance while staying compostable.

We supply forks, knives, spoons and matched sets in any of the three, so a mixed order is fine.

Yes, on the handle or on an individual wrap, and the wrap is the better print surface. A printed handle is small but stays in view for the whole meal. An embossed handle presses the logo into the laminate for a subtler mark. The paper or compostable film sleeve gives a far larger area and can carry full artwork.

Natural unprinted is the most common finish and reads as sustainable without any print at all. White is available for more formal service.

Forks and spoons run 6.5 inches and knives 7 inches, which are standard full-size lengths rather than the shorter dessert gauge. Knives get the extra half inch because the handle needs more reach. Thickness is specified alongside length, since a long thin piece flexes more than a short one.

Orders start at 500 pieces. That can be all one utensil or a mixed set, and cases are packed by the thousand once you move past the first tier. Volume pricing kicks in above 1,000 pieces and the range runs to 100,000.

Standard orders leave in 7 to 10 business days and rush orders in 5 to 7 business days. Samples take 5 to 7 business days too, and with cutlery a sample matters more than usual: try it with your hottest, wettest dish before signing off the spec.

The sample charge is refunded against the bulk order when it goes ahead.

Yes, and that is the main reason to choose it: the used fork goes into the food waste bin with the plate scrapings and never needs separating. Where the stock is certified we print the certification mark on the wrap or case so the claim is backed up on pack.

Birch is compostable as well. CPLA is compostable in commercial facilities only, which is a point to check with your waste contractor before you claim it.
