A wide, shallow profile, so the load sits low and spreads across the base instead of leaning over the hand holding it. Deep, narrow trays tip, and a tray that flexes when loaded spills its contents. We build the board caliper to the full weight of the combo, including the drink if there is a cutout.

The dip well sits at one end, recessed, and the snack weight at the other end balances it.

Yes, a drink cutout is an option and it turns the tray into a complete one-handed carry. Because a full cup puts real weight at one point, trays with a cutout go on heavier caliper board than a plain multi-well tray. The cutout is sized to your cup, so we need the cup rim diameter before cutting.

Moulded fibre is the other route where dips dominate, since a formed well holds sauce more securely than folded board.

They are built for combinations, and a single portion does not need one. A lone portion of fries goes in a scoop. The multi-well layout is there to sell a main snack, a dip and a side together in one hand at a concession, cinema or event where a plate is impractical and a box is too much.

Full CMYK on white board for cinema and venue concessions, kraft with flexo for street food and markets. The red check pattern is still asked for as classic concession styling, and unprinted plain stock is available for high-volume service. Grease-tolerant ink keeps the artwork legible once fried snacks and dips get onto the surface.

Venues often run a short promotional print tied to a film, a fixture or an event, and the 500-tray minimum makes that practical.

The two common sizes are 6 x 4 x 1.5 inches and 8 x 6 x 2 inches, quoted as length by width by depth. Choose by the portion you serve rather than by shelf footprint. The smaller tray takes a snack and a dip, the larger takes a proper combo with a side and room for a drink cutout.

Well positions and count are laid out to order once the size is settled.

We run from 500 trays upward. Pricing is tiered, so a 1,000-piece order costs less per tray than two runs of 500, and the top of the range is 100,000. One layout and one artwork per run, since the wells are die-cut.

Standard turnaround is 7 to 10 business days, rush is 5 to 7 business days, and a sample takes 5 to 7 business days. Load the sample with your real combo and carry it across the room one-handed. That is the only test that tells you whether the caliper is right.

Once you place the bulk order, the sample fee comes off the price.

Very little, because the trays nest inside one another and a tall stack takes the footprint of a single tray. Concession counters are tight, and nesting is often the difference between keeping stock at the point of service and running back to a store cupboard mid-rush. Self-erecting blanks are available where you would rather store flat and pop them up at the counter.
