What We Make

The full kit of capabilities.

Wide-Mouth Geometry
Sized so a scoop goes in cleanly and a spoon reaches the sides.
Scoop-Count Sizing
Built to one, two or three scoops rather than an arbitrary ounce figure.
Freezer-Tolerant Coating
Stays flexible cold instead of going brittle at the rim.
Clear Lids
Product visible through the lid for takeaway sales.
Dome Lids
Headroom for piled serves and sundaes with toppings.
Nesting for Freezer Storage
Separates cleanly when cold and slightly damp.
Tamper-Evident Options
For pre-packed rather than scooped-to-order product.
PLA Compostable Stock
Where commercial composting is available.
Tall Narrow Profiles
A scoop will not seat cleanly and a spoon cannot reach the base. Volume is not the dimension that matters here.
Hot Desserts
This construction is specified for frozen product. Hot fudge or warm desserts need a different coating and wall.

How to measure
01
Measure the product

A cylinder needs two figures, not three: the diameter across its widest point, and the height. Measure the item itself, not the pack you happen to use today.

02
Add clearance

Allow 2–3 mm on the diameter so the product drops in without binding, and a few millimetres of headroom if a lid, pillow or tissue sits on top.

03
Give us the order

We quote round formats as Diameter × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.

What It Costs

Custom Printed Ice Cream Cups is priced per specification rather than from a fixed list — the same box in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.

What moves the price
Quantity

The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.

Material and thickness

Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.

Finishing

Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.

Print coverage

Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.

Inserts and hardware

Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.

Timeline

Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

— Frequently Asked Questions —

Questions, answered.

Everything you need to know about Custom Printed Ice Cream Cups.

Tell us scoop count rather than ounces — it is how your menu is priced and it is the more reliable way to size the cup.

A standard scoop is a sphere roughly 55–65 mm across. The dimension that actually matters is therefore the mouth diameter, not the volume: a scoop has to drop in cleanly without being flattened, and a flat spoon has to reach the sides.

As rough steps, a single-scoop cup is usually around 4–5 oz, two scoops around 8 oz, and three or a sharing serve 12 oz and up. But two shops serving "two scoops" can portion quite differently, so the reliable method is to send us your actual serve.

If you are also selling sundaes, size for the base serve and use a dome lid for the toppings rather than sizing every cup for the largest build.

Yes, though for slightly different reasons than an iced drink.

Inside the coating handles melting product, which is fatty and will penetrate bare board.

Outside it handles condensation. The cup comes out of a freezer at around −18°C into a warm room, and that temperature difference pulls moisture onto the surface quickly. An uncoated outer face absorbs it and softens.

There is a third requirement specific to frozen service: the coating has to stay flexible at freezer temperature. Some coatings go brittle when very cold and crack at the rolled rim, which is exactly where leaks start once the product softens.
