An iced drink sweats, so the outer face meets water just as the inner face does. With coating on one side only, the outside wall soaks up condensation and softens in the hand.

We coat both faces with PE and use paperboard with enough caliper to stay rigid once the outside is wet. The outer print is specified for the same conditions, so the artwork stays sharp to the last sip.

Yes, every cup is supplied with lids made for its rim, so cup and lid are one decision. Our PP lids come in a flat profile with a straw slot, a clear raised dome for foam and cream, and a strawless lid with a moulded sip opening.

We don't mix lid families across ranges, because a lid from another maker's cup may seat loosely and leak. If you already stock a lid, send one and we can match a cup rim to it.

Choose clear PET when the drink itself is the display, and paper when the printed cup carries the brand. Layered lattes and cold brew colour read straight through a clear wall, while a paper cup hides the drink but gives you a full wrap of artwork.

We supply both. Recycled PET is an option on the clear cups, and a PLA-lined paper cup with a PLA lid is available where you have commercial composting.

Full CMYK wrap is the most requested, printed under a coating chosen to cope with condensation. Matte gives the non-reflective look speciality iced coffee brands tend to pick, and gloss keeps colour bright.

A kraft outer still carries PE on both faces, so the natural look costs you nothing in wet strength. Limited-menu artwork can go out as a short run with no change to the cup underneath.

Cold cups are sized with the ice in mind, and the usual range covers 12oz up to 24oz. A 16oz cup is about 3.7 in across the mouth and 5.5 in tall, and a 24oz is 3.9 in across and 6.5 in tall.

Both profiles are shaped to sit steady in a car cupholder. Rim diameter decides which lid fits, so we quote the cup and lid together for each size you run.

We recommend one for grip rather than insulation. Condensation makes the outside of a cold cup slippery, and a sleeve gives the hand something dry to hold.

It also adds a second branded surface without touching the cup print. Use a moisture-resistant sleeve built for a wet wall, since a standard hot-drink sleeve softens and slips once the cup starts to sweat.

The minimum is 500 printed cups, supplied with their lids. Larger orders bring the price per cup down, and an order can reach 100,000 in one run.

Cafés often start at the minimum on one size and add a second once the design is settled. The same quantity applies to a seasonal design, so a summer menu can have its own cup.

Once the proof is approved, cups and lids are made in 7 to 10 business days. For a menu launch on a fixed date we can switch to rush production at 5 to 7 business days.
