Overview

Iced Coffee Cup Sleeve

Built for a wet cup — where a standard sleeve would soften and slip.

Cold cups sweat, and a plain corrugated band absorbs that moisture and loses its grip. A coated or laminated sleeve holds through the condensation a cold drink produces.

What We Make

The full kit of capabilities.

Moisture-Resistant Construction
Takes condensation from a cold cup without softening.
Grip Texture
A dry surface with tooth, so a wet hand holds the cup securely.
Sealed Cup-Facing Liner
Protects the side taking the most water.
Moisture-Stable Print
Artwork stays legible once damp.
Cold Cup Taper Sizing
Matched to cold cup profiles, which differ from hot.
Foam-Backed Option
Closed-cell backing that does not absorb at all.
Blind Emboss
Tactile logo that doubles as grip texture.
Adjustable Fit Profiles
Covers a size range on one SKU where that suits your menu.
Standard Hot Sleeves for Cold Drinks
Untreated corrugated absorbs condensation, softens, loses grip and pulps. It is the most common mistake in this format.
Meaningful Insulation
That is not what this is for. A cold sleeve manages moisture and grip; there is no heat to insulate against.

Sizing & dieline.

Every Custom Iced Coffee Cup Sleeve is cut to a dieline built around your product — not pulled off a shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.

How to measure
01
Measure the product

Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points — not the box you happen to use today.

02
Add clearance

Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.

03
Give us the order

We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.

What It Costs

Pricing & minimums.

Custom Iced Coffee Cup Sleeve is priced per specification rather than from a fixed list — the same box in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.

What moves the price
Quantity

The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.

Material and thickness

Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.

Finishing

Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.

Print coverage

Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.

Inserts and hardware

Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.

Timeline

Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

— Frequently Asked Questions —

Questions, answered.

Everything you need to know about Custom Iced Coffee Cup Sleeve.

You can, but they will not last, and it is the most common mistake we see in this format.

A standard hot sleeve is untreated corrugated board. Its job is to trap air between a hot cup and your hand, and it is good at that. But a cold cup produces continuous condensation, and untreated board absorbs it — the sleeve goes soft, loses its grip on the cup, and eventually pulps. Usually somewhere between the counter and the car.

A cold sleeve is built differently: moisture-resistant board, a sealed liner on the cup-facing side, and print that stays legible when damp. It is doing a different job — grip and moisture management, not insulation.

If you serve both hot and cold drinks, carry both. A single "universal" sleeve is almost always a hot sleeve being used somewhere it fails.

Not for temperature — for grip and mess.

A cold cup pulls moisture out of the surrounding air and holds it on the outside surface. That makes the cup slippery, which is exactly when people grip harder and pop the lid. The condensation also runs down onto hands, into car cupholders and onto tables and desks.

A cold sleeve absorbs that moisture and gives the hand a dry, textured band to hold. It is a small thing that noticeably improves how the drink feels to carry, which is why most speciality iced coffee goes out with one.

There is a marginal thermal benefit — less hand heat reaching the drink — but nobody specifies a cold sleeve for that.
