Jewelry Display Boxes
Retail furniture in miniature, designed for the counter rather than the customer's drawer.
Display boxes present multiple pieces at an angle under cabinet lighting. Ramp geometry and surface finish decide how the metal reads.

Every detail. Intentional.
Angle sets how metal reads
Ramps, not flat beds.
Cabinet lighting is harsh
Finish chosen against glare.
Multiple pieces, one frame
Coherent presentation.
Handled all day
Durability over delicacy.
Lining colour is a decision
Contrast against the metal.
Stays in service for years
Retail fixture economics.

Built like architecture.
Every order of Jewelry Display Boxes is an engineered build, measured, dieline-cut and hand-wrapped to spec. Below is the standard build sheet.

Sizing & dieline.
We cut Jewelry Display Boxes to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Jewelry Display Boxes per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Jewelry Display Boxes.
The universal counter tray is 14 × 9.5 in, and we build to that size so new trays stack with the ones you already own. Cases, safes and drawer units are made around this footprint, which is why jewellers rarely stray from it.
Risers, busts and lidded cases are sized to the piece and the fixture. Send us the internal size of your cabinet or safe shelf and we'll work the rest of the set out from there.
The usual set is ring rolls, flap inserts, flat pads and divided grids, all made to drop into the same tray. Ring rolls are tufted channels that hold rings in rows. Flaps hold earrings on a slotted fold, and grids give each pendant or loose item its own compartment.
Because they share one tray size, staff can switch a counter from rings to earrings in a minute without new furniture. We cut custom grids to your piece count.
A mid-grey or soft taupe usually shows metal best under strong counter lights. White bounces the light back and washes out white gold and diamonds, while deep black can swallow the edges of dark stones and oxidised silver.
Lining colour is also your brand colour on the counter, so we often sample two shades against real pieces under your own lighting. We'd pick whichever reads cleanest from the customer's side of the glass.
It depends on how hard the counter works, but thinning flock on the ramps and roll tops is the sign a set is due. Those surfaces take hands and metal all day. We use a wear-grade flock for daily trays and keep softer velvets for low-traffic windows.
Since the trays follow a standard size, a worn roll or pad doesn't mean replacing the whole display. You can reorder the pieces that wear fastest against the same spec.
Yes, and the most common approach is one family colour across every tray, riser and bust, plus a foil or embossed logo on the front edges. The colour does most of the brand work, since a customer takes in the whole counter before reading a name.
Outer surfaces can take a soft-touch wrap or gloss, and lids can have a window if a case needs to show pieces while closed. CMYK printing inside the lid suits cases that travel to trade shows.
They can, and for most stores that matters as much as how they look. Trays come off the counter every night and go into cases and then the safe, so we keep walls square and heights consistent so they nest without rubbing the pieces in the tray below.
For shows, roll-up cases and lidded carry cases do the same job in less space. Tell us the height of your safe shelf and we will set the tray depth to fit it.
Each custom display item starts at 500 pieces. That quantity suits retail groups, brands that supply counter furniture to their stockists, and jewellers who want matching trays across several stores.
Display pieces stay in service for years, so a run at the minimum often covers replacements for a long while too. Larger orders are quoted up to 100,000 units.
Plan on 7 to 10 business days of production once the artwork and colours are signed off. A rush slot brings that down to 5 to 7 business days if a store opening or show date is fixed.
We'd strongly suggest a sample on display work, since lining colour has to be judged under real lights. Samples take 5 to 7 business days, and the fee comes off the production invoice when you order.
