Sizing & dieline.
We cut Jewelry Subscription Box to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price Jewelry Subscription Box per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Jewelry Subscription Box.
With a die-cut interior that has a slot, hook or card position for each type of piece. Rings go in a slit, studs push through a backing card, and chains catch on a hook so they lie flat. A tangled chain on arrival is one of the quickest ways to lose a subscriber.
Since the pieces change every month, we design the insert around the widest mix you expect and keep it fixed. The box stays the same while the contents rotate.
Yes, we make letterbox-flat versions in E-flute corrugated so the box can be delivered without a signature or a doorstep wait. The trick is keeping total depth low enough for the slot and for the postal size band you're paying for.
Postage steps up at fixed size and weight thresholds, so a few millimetres can change your cost across a year of shipments. We work the insert depth back from the rate you want to hit.
A plain or quietly branded outer makes the parcel less obvious to anyone who handles it along the way. Small, valuable items travel better when the box doesn't advertise what's inside.
The print budget goes on the inside instead. We print the full interior, walls and lid underside, so the colour and logo appear the moment the tear strip is pulled. A kraft outer with a one-colour mark is a common choice.
Keep the box constant and change the layers that go inside it. The printed shell stays the same for the whole programme, and each month gets its own sleeve, tissue or styling card.
That keeps setup on the box to one run, while subscribers still get something that feels new. Styling cards are also where the note about each piece goes, and we can print them to match the box stock and colour.
The two we make most are 6 × 4 × 2 in and 8 × 6 × 2.5 in, both listed as length, width and depth. The smaller one suits a single piece with a card, while the larger holds two or three items and a pouch.
Measure the insert layout you want rather than the pieces alone, because slots and cards take up room. We'll draw a dieline to your size at no charge.
E-flute is the usual choice, as it's thin enough for mail slots and prints cleanly on a white coated liner. B-flute is thicker and takes more crush, which helps if boxes go through heavy sorting or ride inside larger outer cartons.
A double-wall option is there for heavier sets. For a monthly box that ends up as drawer storage, we'd add a matte or gloss lamination so the outside still looks right months later. A perforated opening lets customers reseal the box for a return.
We need a minimum of 500 boxes for a subscription order. Because the shell doesn't change from month to month, one run at that quantity can cover several shipments for a smaller subscriber base.
Once your subscriber count settles, ordering a larger run of the shell and printing the monthly inserts separately keeps things simple. We quote up to 100,000 units.
Boxes are produced in 7 to 10 business days after proof approval, with a 5 to 7 day rush if a launch date is close. Transit time is added on top and depends on where in the USA you are.
We'd sample first so you can drop real pieces into the insert and post one to yourself. You'll have a sample within 5 to 7 business days, and its cost is credited to the full run.
